"JR Insulation is a great company!! They did everything from start to finish as promised, on time, polite, clean, and on budget. I can't recommend them enough. They also fixed a problem that I created in my own ignorance for free just to make me even happier. I told them it wasn't necessary but they insisted. JR's pricing was the absolute best for everything they did. Not the lowest bid but the lowest price to value, which in my opinion is the lowest bid. "On day 1 they removed (sucked out) 3 levels (and three different types) of insulation. They were very neat and cleaned up afterward. They showed me pictures of the cleared attic. On day 2 they blew in new insulation, sealed an unused vent (which was causing a draft) and installed a new attic hatch (old one was broken, unsealed and not insulated causing a draft). Everything was done as agreed and in the timeline expected. They are also a partner with Energy Trust of Oregon which is a bonus."

From all the sawing and hammering I heard, it sounds like quite a bit got fixed up there. It was nice that the Energy Trust guy knew insulation jobs so well and provided reassurances that everything he saw was being done correctly. I'm not going to crawl under the house to see the new vapor barrier and new pipe insulation, have to count on their reputation and good word for that part of the job."
