"Our team of craftsmen create personalized outdoor living spaces that seamlessly blend with the natural splendor of Colorado. This includes landscape design, hardscapes, custom plantings, concrete, synthetic turf, custom woodwork, water features, landscape lighting and more."

"I'm not one to leave reviews, but Brandon and his crew did an amazing job with xeriscaping my front yard. Brandon provided a detailed design plan which included rock, various plants, mulch and grasses. Brandon and his crew are extremely hard workers, very professional and cleaned up the area at the end of the day. Brandon has incredible work ethics, and I highly recommend CCL."

"I hired Jake to put in a fence for me in January 2022. I already had the back fence done and just needed the two sides done. He quoted me $6,679.84. My neighbor offered to pay 50 % of our shared fence. In fact, I gave my neighbor Jake info so they could use him for there other side of their yard for a fence too. Therefore, I was expecting to only pay a total for my fence of $5,009.88 because like I said my neighbor was paying 50% of our shared side which is a total of $1,669.96. Jake pulled a quick one on both me and my neighbor and when he was done with the project he charged us each $6,293.91. This is $1,284.03 over what we were each supposed to pay. Next issue is that Jake has been taxing all of his customers 8.81% sales tax on labor which is illegal. He can only tax materials, NOT labor. Therefore, I would encourage past customers to reach out to him to get refunds for taxed labor. I did not bring this to his attention until April 2022 so anyone who used him before this was taxed illegally. Third issue is that he put the fence post through my sprinkler system. I texted him April 23rd to see if he would not mind stopping by to fix the issue. He replied the same day and stated, Yes. I can try to fix that here this week. I will let you know which days 10 days goes by before he reaches out. At this point I already had issues which him not following through, communicating properly, or responding appropriately and I was having a path put in where the leak was post pointing this project until the issue was fixed. It is also now May 2nd and I still am unable to water my yard and am worried it will die on me. I had to pay another company $300 to come fix it. Fourth issue is that the gates that he installed do not open or close. The gates lag and the latches do not line up. Immediately when he put the unique latches on I asked him to put on the standard latch because I could not open the gates with the latches he put on. I either messaged him or told him in person a total of 3 or 4 times about this issue and he never fixed it. I had to purchase the equipment myself and perform the labor myself of redoing the fence gates. I gave him work, I had my neighbor use him, I add my Uncle Dan use him for a fence (which he hates the gates too and had to redo them as well), my other Aunt Darcy and Uncle Tory use him for a fence and if I had to do it all over again I would have used someone else and never have given him business from my other family members. My family had to reach out to Jake to get refunds/returns on the labor that he taxed them too. Lastly, Jake was supposed to install trees and put in a path for me. I gave him a budget that I could afford. He gave me two options to choose from. I did not like either but he did not put in the work to send multiple different options. Instead I had to put in all the work for looking for what I wanted. Then he scrutinized me by saying that I was wanting things for under value which was not the case at all. I gave him a budget of around $20,000 to work with, he was going over the cost of what I could afford, when I would ask for other option he would give me none but imply that I was not wanting to pay for the materials for what they were worth. Bottom line, I do not recommend Jake. He and Pierce are the only two workers. He is way in over his head. He has become too busy that he is loosing qualities that I saw in the beginning which was a bright future, swift responses, great customer service and fairness. Now he never answers his phone, does not email back in a timely manner, does not text back appropriately, and is one of the worst communicators I have come by."

Hernandez Pro Landscaping we sustain our business on quality and integrity. We are experts in our trade and our commitment to quality from beginning to end of your project. We look forward to earning your business. Call us anytime with any questions you may have. Thanks for your time and have a great day.

"We were recommended by neighbors to go with Hernandez for our back yard landscape project as they had put in their sod and a few trees. We had Juan over who walked the space and provided us with an estimate. We were excited and went forward and spend a decent amount (near 10K) to finish our small back yard of our new house. Little bit of SOD, rock around the perimeter, irrigation, and a concrete patio. Plan was to use Hernandez for phase two the following year which we would plant some tree/shrubs. We were overall happy with everything but within months, we noticed discoloring and chipping all over the main section of the patio. Once spring came around (note we did NOT use any sort of ice melter in our back yard as we have dogs), this is when I reached out to Juan (in April 2023) with pictures. He did not get back to me. I followed up in May which he asked if I put any de icer down, which I explained that we did not. I sent a few more texts with no response and then finally sent another text in March of this year saying that it was way worse along with sending more pics. He then did reply and tell me he would be out to look at it and figure out a solution (see what he could do for me is what he said). Weeks went by, I followed up - he said he was waiting for the snow to melt. Then in April, I once again text him as I heard nothing and he told me he was working and that he will let me know when he would be out here. This is the last he has responded and I have texted every few weeks to month with new pictures and for a response. This patio should not look like itâ s 10 years old. Love to entertain and it is honestly embarrassing to have people back here to show a â new spaceâ looking like this. We have done our own planting (shrubs and a few ornamental grasses) just to spruce up the back yard until we fix the patio... To add on the the frustration, the sod that Hernandez put in did not survive the winter so we had to remove all of that and put in mulch.... Wasn't even that bothered by the sod, but all things considered - really it's not okay. The only thing we have left from the work they did is a chipping patio.. For 10K. Pretty irritating and not the way you do business. Make it right when you make a mistake. They must have poured the patio during inclement weather (too cold), or something was wrong with the mixture."

We are a locally owned and operated snow removal company providing comprehensive snow and ice management services across the Denver area. We service commercial, industrial, offices, shopping centers, industrial properties, healthcare facilities, retail stores, and HOAs. We are pro-active about developing a risk management strategy for each client. The best way to manage risk is to identify the risks, plan for addressing risks and implement the best solution for managing those risks through appropriate service applications. First, we identify and evaluate the risks to each property by assessing specific areas of concern. Second, customers are encouraged to evaluate the level of service their property requires. From here we produce a customized site plan map for servicing the property in a timely manner. Third, we implement each property's plan with the appropriate service applications to ensure risks are minimized and satisfaction is achieved.

FAQs for landscaping projects in Lakewood, CO

Self-removal is practical only for boulders weighing approximately 100 pounds or less. This approach requires basic tools like shovels and wheelbarrows, plus disposal fees around $100 per ton. For heavier stones, the equipment rental costs (potentially $700 for larger projects needing both excavator and dumpster) combined with potential property damage risks often make professional services more economical overall.

The duration of professional boulder removal varies significantly based on size, quantity, and accessibility factors. Small projects might conclude within a couple of hours, while larger operations involving substantial boulders or difficult terrain can require a full workday. Most companies allocate time for assessment, equipment setup, the actual extraction process, and site cleanup. Many excavation companies bill minimum periods (typically eight hours) regardless of actual project duration.

The method for removing a boulder from a hole depends on the boulder's size and available tools. Smaller boulders might be pried out using levers (like rock bars) and by filling the hole with smaller rocks as you lift. Larger boulders may require breaking them down using tools like a rotary hammer and wedges, or in extreme cases, heavy machinery.
