"They were excellent. I called. He made an appointment to come and give me an estimate. He gave me the estimate. It was probably in June, and then, they could not do the tree work because of the season until the fall. So, he called me. We set up the time. He came, brought his truck, and his men. You never would have known they had been here. The yard was so clean, and they did an excellent job. I had them back last fall just to look if I needed to do anything, and he was very honest. He could have said that I needed a re-trim, but he said that I did not and that everything was fabulous."

"The quality of work was very good, and the workers were prompt and nice to work with. David Marshall is very easy to get ahold of and I think this is a real virtue compared to other handymen I have worked with in Duluth. They called around and found a spring to fix a very old window of ours that we have otherwise needed to replace. All of these were very positive aspects of the interaction.
My only negative comment is that one of the projects (the custom door) ended up being much more expensive than I anticipated. I think this was because one of the workers suggested something that we did not have in the quote, and I was just not prepared for the expense. I think that this is more of a communication issue than anything. I still highly recommend Marshall Handyman, but I would just be very careful to specify the price of anything if modifications are made during the repair process, especially if you are talking to an employee and not David Marshall. Otherwise, good work.

"They did a great job clearing the leaves in our yard and hauling them away. Dylan was very good about clearing leaves from corners, decks and the edges against the fence. My only complaint is not getting a call back once we agreed on the price. I tried calling twice and emailing once asking when they would be out. It took 5 days to hear back (that includes the weekend). But, I was very happy with the end result. Definitely will hire them again."

"Some ornamental bushes in my front yard were damaged when they dropped the heavy branches on them. The long branches were left without cutting in half, so they were hard to move. They had to call in a 3rd party to finish the work in the back as the 1st tree trimmer did not have proper equipment. They came to do the work in time manor."
