We crews that helped us with the physical move worked very hard and provided solutions when issues came up. The single recommendation I could provide to anyone is be 100% sure everything you want to move is on the digital inventory at least 5 days before moving day. The day of the move, I found things were missing on the digital inventory even though we talked about it."

This group to our items to a location where they were transferred to another group to finish the move. More damage happened. The second move was done by a different group who picked up our things and delivered them. Again some damage. My problem with the second move was with the claim department at National Van Lines. I was overly careful about the damages I claimed (only submitting the largest items or easiest to replace), but had to negotiate to get a fair deal. BUT NVL did set me up with a great guy who could fix most of the damaged items."
