"About 10 or 11 years ago, AC Paving installed a new asphalt driveway for us. Our original driveway was gravel and dirt. We were extremely please with the work and the price. The driveway has held up beautifully through the years, but it was looking like it needed sealant and we had a damaged area where water has frozen and thawed over and over. Today, AC Paving showed up at our home. They were in the neighborhood doing work and they remembered us from years ago. They immediately got to work and now we have a lovely, good as new drive. I highly recommend this company. They do good work, they clean up after themselves, and the owner is always on the job with his crew, seeing to every detail. "Falls Church Paving did a great job. Overall, they delivered on what was proposed. The company was easy to contact. Estimator came to the property promptly and wrote the proposal. Work was scheduled and the crew completed the work in an expedient manner. The prep work was completed better than expected with minimal impact to yard surrounding the drive. Could not see any seems in the paving. Interface with the driveway and the street were exact (no gaps). Driveway was water tested to ensure proper drainage. Crew completed all the hand tamping and left the work site with no issues. Hard to tell they just finished paving the entire driveway. My driveway was widened, repaved, and is now beautiful (interesting adjective, but it really is beautiful)."

"Ronnie did a fantastic job! My driveway was a mess with leaves covering a third of the driveway and weeds growing up from the cracks. He cleaned up all the leaves, pulled and/or burned out the weeds from the cracks, edged both sides of the entire driveway, and even dug out the edge of a little hill that had "migrated" over the edge of the driveway near the retaining wall. I took advantage of an Angie's List Big Deal coupon for this job and my driveway was a little bigger than the coupon offer, so he charged me a little more for that and for the clean up. He was only going to charge me $275, but he did such a great job, which took him longer than he had originally  estimated, on a very hot day, so I paid him an extra $125 for a total of $400. He was very appreciative and told me stories of how badly some of the other people who purchased coupons treated him and even left negative reports here on Angie's List. Well, my response to that is that you people are idiots and you missed out on a honest guy doing a great job. Of all the Angie's List coupon deals I've purchased, Ronnie was the only one who contacted me. I've had to call all the others. I highly recommend Nichols Asphalt & Paving!"

"They started work very promptly that morning and finished about 6 hours later.  The work went a lot quicker than I had imagined, but given the amount of equipment and workers (6-ish), I guess I shouldn't be surprised.  They cleared out everything that needed to be cleared- the retaining wall, the extra dirt, etc. I asked them to save the stone facing off the retaining wall, which they did and managed to save just about every piece perfectly. They proceeded to lay the stone base followed by the asphalt.  The finished driveway is great-it looks great and everything looks properly sloped and finished."

"First time I'd done seal coating but I'm selling the home and the driveway was way past it's prime and had many large cracks. I thankfully did not have time to do it myself so I looked at reviews and called a couple. Frank SR is who I talked to and he impressed me with answers to my questions and then worked with me to be flexible on when to do it as I needed to powerwash and clean some really bad areas first. Finally his son Fank J came to do the work and did an excellent job. The thickness and quality of the sealer they use is MUCH better than the do it yourself stuff. When done, amazingly, around 90 pct of the big cracks I had not had time to fill were gone! I will patch he few remaining very large ones with cold patch asphalt repair as they are not really cracks. If I had done sealcoating with them previously I am pretty sure my driveway would no be in this bad a shape-but the seal coating did a remarkable job filling cracks and making he asphalt look in good shape again. I am very glad I picked them to do the work and would do so again for any asphal/paving. Price was very reasonable at around twice what it would cost me to have done it myself so it was only a few hundred more, I didn't have to do he work, and most importantly the result was far better due to the quality of the materials used and it's expert application laying it on thickly."
