Communication about every aspect of the job was great as was the workmanship and the clean-up. "Don Shin and his AA Painting were dependable and meticulous. Once we agreed to the project with AA, they were quickly available and did the work in one day. Don suggested a penetrating stain for the walls and a brighter, more cleanable paint for the metal trim, which we had originally thought might be matte. Since we were going from a dark wood color to a lighter one, his people did multiple coats. The crew moved all furniture and carefully removed several bamboo shades and brackets (which they later reinstalled). Their plastic drop film and taping work was carefully done to produce a painting job that was literally perfect--not one drop spilled, not one piece of furniture harmed. They were neat, courteous, and professional, both with us and with the staff of our condominium building. In the midst of the job my wife had a medical emergency. Since we saw that the AA people were very reliable, we had no problem leaving them to their work while we ran to the clinic. We are definitely thinking of AA for other projects."

"In spring of 2017 (May) I hired Flanagan Painting to paint my stucco house. I had initially wanted only my trim painted as paint was peeling badly. He explained to me that he noticed cracks in my stucco in both house & garage & he could patch those up & if I would have the whole house painted, he could use a special paint to also help seal the cracks in the stucco. Since I didn’t know the last time the house was painted (I’ve owned for only 7 years) & because I thought a full paint job would help seal out pests of all kinds, I decided to go with his suggestion of full house & garage painting. (I didn’t feel pressured by him at all to do full paint job.) So glad I did! Joe Flanagan & his assistant, Jonathon, did a great job on my house & garage! And at a reasonable price! And with a 5% Angie’s List member discount. He also suggested power washing my wooden fence, which was unpainted & unstained & had turned an ugly gray. He said if I did this, it would look almost new again, with a tinge of the original orange color. He was right! The fence looks so much better. And he gave me suggestions on staining it to maintain it. He also was careful of my perennial plants that were coming up around the house, which I appreciated – I did mark them to help him avoid. They were detail oriented & careful in their painting. He also noticed & pointed out a hole in my eaves which he chased a squirrel out of & plugged up w/ rocks as a temporary barrier. And he & his assistant were both so congenial, friendly & easy to work with! And answered all my questions! I will definitely hire again for any painting work!"

"Ryan brought in a crew of 6 men who did the job in 3 days.  They were professional, courteous and friendly.  They came in set up, took nails, picture hooks etc out of the walls, patched all the holes as requested and the painting began  We had all our woodwork painted white including a set of french doors and sidelights.  It was quite an undertaking.  All the windows (50 of them 2-sided = 100 windows) had to be taped prior to painting and we had a transom window as well.  By the end of day 3 everything was done, cleaned up an they were gone.  The guys did a great job.  They were friendly, courteous and just a joy to have around. Ryan Miller, The owner, Ryan Miler, made sure that the attention to detail was carried out.  He is professional, punctual, courteous and friendly. If  needed, I would have them again.  This is the third time I have used Fresh Look and at this point all my interior painting is done.  They have done my entire house and I am more than satisfied with the entire experience as is my husband.

"Painting by Jerry Wind is in a category all to themselves for painting! They are exceptional in every way. We are a repeat customer (second house they've worked on for us) and they have now painted the entire exterior of our current home (June 2021) and 90% of the interior (June 2018 and June 2021.) From the first contact, they are responsive and in close contact with you. When Jerry tells you he will call you "a week from today to give you a precise start time for your job", he means it. You don't need to chase them down. They communicate with you throughout the project and there are no surprises. They sincerely want you to be a happy customer. The onsite crews at our home have been led by foreman Marlon Reynosa. He is truly outstanding! It is apparent that he loves what he does and the crews were all on-time (every single day of the 3-week project), skilled, respectful, clean, courteous, pleasant, and professional. Their attention to detail is unmatched! They needed to hand paint several large sections of our house due to an abundance of windows, exterior stonework, and landscaping. To a person, they were focused on getting the job done with attentiveness and high quality. One of their crew members, Juan, was focused on the interior study which required stripping wallpaper, repairing the drywall as needed, patching, and painting. The study has a built-in desk and cabinetry, so there were some tricky spots to get to. Juan was patient and diligent. As he concluded the third coat of paint (highly saturated color), he edged (vacuumed) along the base molding to be sure any dust or debris was removed. The study was spotless when he left and ready to go. Marlon worked hard to get us the right color match for the exterior, which we had struggled with in trying to do some previous touch-ups ourselves. At the conclusion of the job, they removed old and incorrect paint cans, labeled the new paint cans, and stored them for us. There is no question you pay a premium for their services, but in our opinion, anyone offering a lower bid will also do a lower quality job. It may not be a bad job, but it won't be to this level of quality. (That has been our experience with other painters.) You get what you pay for with Painting by Jerry Wind and, in our opinion, they are well worth it! We will likely hire them again when we remodel our main bedroom suite so they can finish the 10% of our interior they haven't yet touched! What a wonderful company with great people!"

"Brennan was very responsive and punctual. His painters were able to do the work from the exterior of the house without removing the sashes, so there was no concern about lead paint entering the house. He was able to remove a huge semi-permanent window air conditioning unit for us as well. Near the end of the project I noticed some areas (only visible from inside the house) that could use some extra paint and let Brennan know. He was quick to respond. The paint job is great and holding up nicely."
