"The need was to have ONE shingle re-tacked to the shingle line. The issue was his ONE single was 35â up on the roof (back of house, basement side). After waiting 1 hour past the scheduled time I called and was told I wasnâ t on the schedule, the confirmation in my hand telling me otherwise, but he would be by at 7:30 that evening. At 7:10 I heard that it would be 9:00AM the next morning. At 11:00 the next morning he arrived, explaining that he needed to get his truck washed and then had to go get the ladder. He quickly realized that the ladder wasnâ t long enough (he was provided pictures of the location showing a full three stories). He said heâ d be back with the right ladder at 7:30. Arrived back at around 6:30 and finally took care of the need. He took pictures and said heâ d send them to me - still waiting for them - so I still donâ t know the true quality of the work. It was a quick-turn NEED, difficult placement, and the shingle looks like itâ s reattached, AND it was taken care of before wind/rain so Iâ m happy about that. My time waiting and rescheduling outweighed the cost of the job, but in the end it was fixed before the first company I called even called back!"
