"Matt recently did a metal roof on my house and shop, to replace the old, leaky, decrepit asphalt shingles...which I was having to patch pretty much every time it rained. When he came out for a quote, Matt was absolutely painstaking in his measurements (impressive...one of the reasons I went with him for my new roof). Matt provided three detailed quotes, with different options. Once we decided on a roof, he scheduled quickly. He and his crew showed up exactly when promised (early actually). Working from home that week, I was able to watch the process. Matt took the time to make sure everything was right. I had a few difficult valleys, and he was meticulous to ensure that everything would be watertight. All of the angles and lines are perfect. Matt is a craftsman, plain and simple. He and his crew take pride in their work, which is refreshing, this day and age. Last but certainly not least, Matt is courteous and professional at all times. He and his crew were a pleasure to work with. They left my house exactly the way they found it (only, with a great new roof)."

"From the very beginning, Scott Gunter, the Hixon Company Representative, came to our home well prepared and with plans for an outdoor screened porch and to have a new roof installed. Scott delivered as he said he would, on time, and the best workmanship we could afford. Once here, theHixon crew went right to work. They were on time, quick, but yet, efficient. We couldn't be more happy with the roof. We did install a quality roof with architectural shingles. It was done in two days. There were many, friendly and efficient workers, all here at the same time. They worked very hard and were relentless in their efforts to please my wife and me."

"Craig came out and gave me a very competitive estimate to repair my siding (less than his counterparts). He was also quickly able to tell exactly what make/color I had without having to go through a week+ of research. His installation team took a couple days longer to get to my house than planned but overall they did a good job on the work. I would recommend him to anyone that needs siding work."

"My wife was putting the star on the tree on Chrismas Eve when a few drops of water fell on her head during a rain storm from a small leak in the ceiling. Wes contacted me the same day I submitted the project. He inspected the roof and found hail damage in addition to some bad flashing which caused the leak. He worked with our insurance company to manage the whole claims process for us. There were slight material adjustments at the end that were handled as well. Overall, the quote was very reasonable for the work performed which was completed in just two days. The work quality was excellent and his team did any excellent cleanup job, no stray roofing material or nails anywhere. Highly recommend. Excellent communication. Very professional. No hassle."

"I really like their salesman and I thought they really did a good job in our roof but the siding contractor that they use, we were not happy at them at all."
Maintaining your soffit is essential. You must inspect it twice yearly to catch any clear signs of deterioration. Look for cracks, mold, rotted wood, sagging sections, chipped paint, or missing boards. If these issues are detected, contact a professional immediately to repair or replace the damaged soffit and protect your home’s structural integrity.
To maintain your fascia boards and soffits, inspect them regularly to protect your roof and home's structure. Clean your gutters to remove debris and prevent moisture buildup. Repaint any damaged sections to keep moisture at bay. Upgrading drip edges and vents improves airflow and dispels moisture efficiently, helping you avoid severe damage and costly repairs.
While installing a new soffit over an existing soffit isn't common, it may be necessary in some older homes. If removing the original soffit could damage delicate structures, a professional might recommend installing the new soffit without complete removal. Always consult a qualified professional to assess the condition and ensure this method is safe and effective.
When hiring someone for soffit and fascia repair, choose a specialist with proven roofing and gutter systems expertise. A knowledgeable contractor will thoroughly inspect your home and provide a straightforward repair or replacement plan. Check online reviews and ask for references to ensure you receive high-quality service that delivers lasting results and strong protection for your home.
