"We used Tadlock roofing to replace the roof on our rental house in Panama City. Also for a roof secondary water barrier and 2x solar powered attic vents.Since I live out of state and was not able to be present for the estimate, Tadlock sent me a link to a very helpful video clip of my roof pointing out the problems they found and showing me the options for replacement. We were able to get a 40-year shingle with 15 year warranty on labor for less than most places were offering for a 30-year shingle and only one year of warranty. Tadlock did a fast and professional job with a thorough cleanup afterwards. Now my house is staying dry and the cooling costs have gone down with the increased efficiency shingles and roof vents. Also, we are getting an insurance discount for a new roof, for wind mitigation, and for secondary water barrier protection. We would use Tadlock again in a heartbeat and wish we would have found them first."

"They repaired damage to our roof caused by Hurricane Michael. As you can imagine it was a busy time for them. They did an excellent job and inspected it after the recent heavy rains. The owner, Don Johnson inspected how the repairs were working and took photos of the repairs. He saw some unrelated issues with a seal in our air conditioning system. He then fixed that free of charge. The price was very reasonable and they were very responsive."

"Over all it was OK.  I was not happy with how much time I had to spend picking up trash after they left - from strips of sharp metal, to dozens of screws every day for a week (literally), to their snack wrappers and drink cans every evening.  The house had been painted a few months prior to the roof job and they managed to gouge several pieces of newly painted wood from the sides of the house.  I was told it would not mildew and 2 years later it has and needs a cleaning.  Had they been honest about that, I would have gone with a darker color.

One to avoid:  Solar Advantage.  Bugged us to death, tried to trick us into going with them; sent long email telling us how awful Sunpro is, which was all untrue.  All others contacted in our area no where near came close to Sunpro - with info, professionalism, knowledge, straightforwardness, & follow-up.
Note:  They plan the panels for $25,000 in order for LA residents to get the full 50% LA rebate ($12,500) & 30% Federal credit ($7,500), leaving $5,000 as our portion.
