He not only took the time to do things right, he took the time to go over everything with us in detail. Bob replaced a handful of mahogany boards on our deck, installed two new light fixtures—bedroom and front porch— built a fence gate, repaired a broken stair baluster, installed a ceiling fan, replaced a rotted board on our shed, and gave us lots of advice and idea for future projects. The work took almost four days. Bob texted every morning to let us know when he’d arrive. He cleaned up as he went and at the end of each day. The project came to around $4,500. It was money well spent."

He pointed out that he could also replace some wooden pickets on the fence which I needed to have done but didn't think about asking him as getting the gate repaired was more important. He came out on Friday morning and repaired the gate and replaced pickets as well as secure a section of fencing. He did a great job. Bertie was very polite and punctual. He kept in contact with me the entire time. I would definitely hire Bertie again and I highly recommend him."

"I've hired Prudential Remodeling annually for the past three years for projects around the house and I plan to hire them again this summer - Kevin, Shannon, and their crew are honest, dependable, hardworking folks that are always a pleasure to work with. The guys demolished and removed the existing shed and built a new one about 1.5x the size from the ground up. They treated the build like a house - adding a Tyvek wrap around the exterior plywood and then sided and trimmed the shed to match the house. They even went so far as to find matching roof shingles, so it looks like a mini-version of my house in the backyard. I was very impressed. And as far as the deck refacing goes, that project went smooth as glass. At first, I thought the whole deck would need to be replaced, but Kevin went underneath and took a look at the structural components and he thought everything looked good. They added some lateral supports which tightened the deck right up and made it feel new again. Kevin gave me color options and pricing (I had no idea that the composite material cost was dependent on the colors chosen) - I went with a color scheme that matched the existing And the end result was better than I expected - basically every wood component directly exposed to the elements was either replaced or covered by composites. It just so nice knowing that I don't have to worry about splinters or painting that deck ever again."

"The work was of the highest quality. All the old trim, clapboards that needed replacing and any other debris were removed daily from the site. The owner and crew explained to me what was happening and why. Our house is old, so there were unanticipated issues after the trim was removed. We received a thorough explanation about what additional work needed to be done. I called the office on a Thursday and he was able to come out the following Tuesday, which was significantly quicker than anywhere else we called (if they even answered the phone, because most didn’t). Derek is very communicative, easy to work with and transparent about materials and cost. He was super friendly, always on time, and sent updates with pictures about how the job was going. He looked at other places around the house as well, that might need repairs first, as we were looking to paint the house later this summer.
