I called detail solar and Jake picked up my call. The next day, Jonathan and Austin (sorry if I mis-spell the name) came over my house and found what causes my solar system stop working. They ordered the part on the site and my solar system works again in about a week after I called detail solar. This includes the shipping time of the repair part from the manufacturer. Benjamin Franklin's technicians performed outstanding service, installing an entire new and superior tankless hot water system, replacing our inferior and dangerously flawed tankless system that no longer performed. The lead technician was up front regarding the reasons for replacement, the cost of replacement, as well as less expensive alternatives. After we decided to replace with a new tankless system and because of the price point, the lead technician suggested time plan payment alternatives which was very helpful.

The day of installation, the crew arrived on time as promised and suggested that the unit be placed on the outside of the house instead of underneath in the crawl space, allowing for easy access for maintenance and trouble shooting as well as for safety. An excellent suggestion since the old tankless system had been installed against a wall in the crawl space underneath our bedroom floor which the lead technician noted, would have been bad for us if the corroded pipes had started leaking gas! Anyway, the entire job was completed without a hitch and again right on time as promised.

The new system has been working perfectly for six months now and we could not be more pleased! I would highly recommend Benjamin Franklin and their technical crews to anyone with plumbing issues - two thumbs up!

"I can't begin to express my gratitude to Paul Zimmer and Detail Solar. I had a disaster created by a windstorm which caused my solar inverter to detach from the house and flip upside down. The conduit, cutoff boxes and wiring were all hanging precariously. Each day that went by caused more stress as all that heavy equipment pulled further and further away from the house. I called the company that installed the solar, only 18 months ago, only to find out that they had gone out of business and disappeared. Also, no one close to my address was interested in servicing my need. Fortunately, one day I happened to look on Angie's List and found a company with a Greenville address that did solar repair. I didn't even complete the application because I didn't think that someone from Greenville would come all the way to Myrtle Beach to fix my problem. To my surprise, Paul called me the same day and SHOWED UP THE VERY NEXT DAY to start the process of removing all the damaged equipment and wiring from the house. He made the house safe from any further damage and hauled off the debris to the local dump. Two weeks later, he and his crew showed up to totally upgrade my system, fix the siding and get my panels producing power again. I have since referred him to others that have solar problems and will continue to support him and his team any way I can.
