"The solar electric system is now installed and functional 5.5 KW Grid tie system. Standard Relewable sub-contracted much of the work, and I had to deal with several Standard Renewable people over the course of the project. I paid in two payments by credit card. They were very slow to make arrengements to take the second payment. There were several times when it was difficult to get response by email. I emailed several times to make the final payment, and could not get them to do so. The conduit in the Attic is run so that it crosses open space at head knocking height. Over all the system is installed and working, but lacks fine touches"

We have had a number of poor experiences with contractors including electrical. John Moore was a refreshing change for their service was what one would expect. Very professional. Michael Gustafson, John Moore Services, fixed our electrical issue. Again very professional. They came and evaluated our system and immediately found the problem. They repaired and upgraded our system. They even got us a better electric provider. Can't say enough good things about them. "The experience was wonderful, I loved those people. They were friendly, they were exceptional. Liz rocks! She came out here, was very professional. She measured everything and told me what the price was. She answered all my questions, didn?t fool around, lollygag or anything. Before she left, she told me what day they would come out. They came out that day, took less than an hour and they were done. 

The price was extremely reasonably. It was better than replacing windows, I?ll tell you that much. It keeps out heat, is the main thing for electricity. We were just very appreciative. Her husband, Chris came with her to install it and they were really great. I thought it would be more expensive, so the price was great. They were exceptionally pleasant, extremely friendly. They are very busy like. The professionalism, I was very impressed. They were honest.

We were thinking about replacing the windows and they said, ?no don?t do that because it is more expensive!? I said, ?yeah you?re right, but we didn?t know what to do!? When I saw the solar screens, several of my friends have it. They really do save and you can?t see inside your house. That is another reason, the privacy. The privacy issue is very much a concern.

If burglars come to your house and they can?t see inside, what are they going to do. If you have got a radio going and they can?t see inside; they are going to go, ?humm!? Someone stupid would just break in anyway. I got their business cards. I said, ?let me tell people!? I told one of my neighbors already. They were also very focus on what their aim is, to help people. They were very clean, they had a clean appearance. Their truck was very clean, everything was neat. They are very well organized and very focused."

"Earlier this year, we decided to install a rooftop solar system with battery backup. We started our research in March on different options of inverters: string inverter, power optimizer, and micro inverter. We had discussions and quotes with multiple national and Texas-based solar installation companies. Somehow we were not sure about any of them. Finally, my wife found a Houston-based company called Elias Solar. They turned out to be very responsive and assigned their solar technician Michael to us. We were very impressed by his expertise and knowledge of the pros and cons of the various options and decided to go with Elias Solar. After the permitting process, the system installation was led by Michael who was on site all along and always reachable by email or text. After more applications, we received Centerpoint's Permit to Operate (PTO) in September. Since then, the system has been operating seamlessly and as expected. Last night, there was a power outage for over an hour and the battery backup kicked right in. Our house was the only one in the neighborhood with the lights on, and that felt really good ! Thanks to Michael who helped define our project and then install the system, our experience with Elias Solar was a very positive one. They are professional and easy to work with. We highly recommend Elias Solar if you consider installing a new home or business solar system."
