"I recently had an old deck removed and replaced with a stone patio. The portion of my house where the deck previously contacted my house needed replacement shingles. Despite rainy weather conditions the day of the job, Bob was able to get the job done. I would highly recommend him."

Chris, Brian, and the MCM staff were extremely helpful, responsive, and professional. Our inground pool is probably at least 50 years old and surrounded with concrete, and suddenly started losing water at such a great rate that we knew we had a major leak somewhere (but definitely not the liner.) I scouted around for a reputable firm to find the leak for us; MCM gave us the most reasonable estimate,  and with a clean record with the BBB I felt confident in engaging them. They arranged to help us out as soon as possible, they showed up on time, and did an excellent job at finding our main leak, and all the minor leaks as well. We arranged with them to fix the big leak (which was no small job, considering the age of the pool, and the location and condition of the lines) and once they had fixed that we were able to run the pump and filter without further problems. (Water is WAY too expensive where we live to have to keep filling the pool constantly all summer!) We had already had part of the concrete apron around the pool excavated to fix the one leak, so rather than reconcrete that part only to have it - and more - dug up again in the future, we decided to have the whole area excavated and to have MCM Pool come back to replace the entire line. Which they did. As busy as they were with pool closings, they were able to squeeze us in and replaced the entire line. MCM Pool did a great job all around - they kept in touch, showed up when promised, did the repairs quickly and effectively, and charged the most reasonable rates of any pool company I contacted. I would definitely use them again if I ever need any future pool repairs or service.

FAQs for pool construction and installation projects in Bryantville, MA

Running a pool pump continuously significantly increases your monthly electricity expenses. With a single-speed pump, you might see costs toward the upper end of the average range, potentially reaching $150 per month depending on your pump's horsepower and local electricity rates.

Variable-speed pumps would be more economical even with continuous operation, but would still increase costs above normal. However, 24/7 operation is rarely necessary for residential pools, as most require only eight to 12 hours of daily filtration.

Yes, LED pool lights provide substantial energy savings compared to traditional halogen fixtures. Industry data indicates LED lights are five times less expensive to operate than halogen alternatives, while providing equivalent or better illumination. Though LED fixtures often have a higher initial purchase price, the energy savings and longer lifespan make them a cost-effective choice for pool owners who enjoy nighttime swimming.
