"I had my pool installed by Anthony & Sylvan in 2019 we are now in 2025 and my copping of my pool looks like crap that?s because Anthony & Sylvan uses cheap materials. I call Anthony & Sylvan customer support and I complained to them and they said that they can?t help me because my warranty is no longer in effect. I spent around $90k for my brand new pool and expect for materials to be much better so me and my family can enjoy our pool, but now I have to replace my copping and it will cost me around $12,000. I am very pissed off and angry. People please be on look out if you are planning of using Anthony and Sylvan for your pool. They are good at selling but they will buy cheapest stuff around. So be on look out. "

in February 1997, i opened my own business Prior to 1997 i worked for my father's swimming pool business for 20 years. In those 20 years i gained experience with in-ground and above-ground pools, spas, pool renovations, retaining walls, brick and concrete patios, water features, waterfalls, fountains, fiber optic lights, auto covers and safety covers. to date i have installed an estimated 500 pools, both residential and commercial. In April of 1999 i opened a swimming pool retail store to better meet my customer's needs. The store offers a variety of pool toys, lounges, basketball, and volleyball games. By carrying a full line of pool and spa chemicals and offering water testing to ensure your pool is properly balanced, I further keep my commitment of servicing what I sell. I have a lot to offer you as a customer. Since I am not a large company, my goal is quality not quantity. You become a personal customer to me, not just another job. We do 90% of the work ourselves, which gives me maximum control of our time frame and the quality of the job. "Avoid Anthony & Sylvan Pools — Unreliable, Unaccountable We hired Anthony & Sylvan for what was supposed to be a high-end pool build. Four years later, we’re left with a crumbling mess: tile walls falling apart, leaks damaging the deck, and widespread delamination confirmed by multiple engineers. It’s a structural failure — not wear and tear, not our fault. They denied our warranty claim outright. We had to hire a lawyer and go public just to get a response. Even then, they blamed us and offered a limited repair only if we signed an NDA and removed our reviews. This wasn’t a minor issue — it was a full breakdown caused by poor materials and workmanship. A fix could’ve taken a few days. Instead, they dragged it out for months while doing everything they could to avoid accountability. Their customer service is all smoke and mirrors. They don’t stand by their product, and they care more about protecting their reputation than doing what’s right. You’re better off with a reputable local builder who won’t hide behind lawyers and paperwork when things go wrong."
