"Brandon was originally provided by my new home/pool builder to do some complimentary weekly maintenance services. But I got much more than that! I had numerous plumbing, electrical, and equipment problems from the initial construction of the pool. Even though his company did not build the pool, Brandon jumped right in and either diagnosed/fixed several issues himself or hired a pro to do the electrical correction. My pool finally works as it should now. Service above and beyond. I like that."

"Stephanie was the only person to respond and come that very same day after a recent storm to take care of my pool. She is prompt and friendly and very knowledgeable about her job. I highly recommend her for pool cleaning and maintenance! She goes above and beyond. So happy I found her!"

"We had a pipe that cracked under the concrete of our pool. We were very concerned that this would be a extremely expensive fix. So we consulted Home Advisor and Mr. Goodwin contacted us right away. He came the next day, found the leak, gave us a very very reasonable quote. He came the following day with his crew (wife and son) and it was fixed perfectly and quick. This family business, is extremely knowledgeable about pools. Do not waste your time calling those big pool companies, they are a rip off and only care about their commercial accounts. Mr. Goodwin is honest, and definitely a pool expert. Don't hesitate to call him."

FAQs for pool construction and installation projects in North Myrtle Beach, SC

While it is possible to put a pool on a concrete slab, it’s not recommended. This can damage the liner of your pool and creates a rough floor that’s not pleasant. Professional installers use a sand base to create a level surface and ensure that your pool floor is comfortable.

Sand is a fine material that creates a smooth bottom for your pool. Other materials, such as dirt, could contain rocks that damage your pool liner.

Pool sand is also known as mason sand. The different types include concrete sand, yellow mason and white sand.
