"I hired Sierra Pool Treatment because my other pool service was not communicating. Immediately with Sierra Pool Treatment they responded to my request, introduced himself, and asked what my needs were, and his price was fair. During the introduction Mike said that they were Pentair Certified which is what my pump is. I did have an immediate need since my pump was leaking. They came the next day (Tues) and fixed the leaks even though our scheduled day for maintenance is scheduled for Monday. This is customer service along with communication. I would recommend Sierra Pool Service for both service, quality of work, and communication. Thank You Mike."

"With the utmost pleasure, I want to share ..... We were reluctant to have our pool resurfaced because of the unknowing. Can we afford it? Our pool is so old; will it crack in two? James, the owner, was a pleasure to work with. He immediately put us at ease and gave us options. Choosing Double J pools was a no brainer after meeting James. He impressed us with his calm demeanor, professionalism and patience. We had a lot of questions ð The crew was so observant & careful around the (more than a dozen) potted plants around our pool. James continued to provide updates during the resurfacing AND after the project was completed. We chose a light blue cement and when the water reached the tile, I gasped with delight! It is absolutely breathtaking & so beautiful with the lights on. Thank you James and crew. We will be forever grateful."

The cost to install an in-ground swimming pool ranges from $41,013 to $79,120, with an average of $58,732. The size, design, and shape of your pool will affect the cost, along with the materials and amenities you choose. Discuss your budget with a swimming pool builder to find out your options.
It will take anywhere from eight to 12 weeks to build a swimming pool. This is why you might consider starting this project in winter or early spring to ensure your pool is swim-ready by summer. Factors that can affect the timeline include how long it takes to design your pool and acquire permits, as well as any excavation issues your swimming pool contractor encounters.
Swimming pool maintenance helps you maintain a proper pH, discourage algae growth, and extend the lifespan of your pool.
Here’s a look at swimming pool maintenance tasks:
You can use test strips or a test kit to check chlorine levels in your pool. With strips, you simply dip one in the pool, let it dry, and compare the color to the included chart to figure out your pool’s chlorine levels.
With a test kit, you’ll dip the tester into the pool and add drops of a solution and then compare the color it turns to the included chart. You’ll also be able to test your pool’s pH, acid levels, alkalinity, and more. If you have trouble maintaining levels, hire a swimming pool chemical service to balance your pool for you.
Cleaning a swimming pool starts with skimming leaves and debris to keep the pool free from contamination. You’ll also want to run your pool vacuum and brush the sides of the pool, stairs, and ladder. Another crucial pool cleaning task is testing your pool’s pH and chlorine levels. You can perform these pool care tasks yourself or hire a weekly pool service to help.
