"Great experience, i paid a reasonable price for my in ground pool. Everywhere else i asked was overpriced asking for unreasonable amounts, If you are looking to get a pool I definitely recommend Patriot Pool and Patio, the workers were very hardworking and Alphonso answered any questions I had and got me up to speed on any renovations that were going on. I highly recommend Patriot Pool and Patio!"

"Patrick and Chris were extremely knowledgeable about all of the pool repairs that my pool needed. They even called out things that were a problem seven years that are still an issue, but we gave up on fixing. They were so great, I hired them to perform the regular weekly maintenance, too. I'm looking forward to a great summer in the pool thanks to Poolie!"

Customers say: Quality work

"Worst customer service experience! What owner told me did not happen. Zero communication on how to care for new pool, workers did not come every other day to test Acid levels, which has left Permanent stains on my new Gunite pool. I called, texted owner so many times he will tell me 1 thing, not communicating anything to his staff. Not do what I pay for or what he tells me is going to happen. I had to contact office manager b/c 5-6 days after resurfacing no one had come by to check on acid level or if I could add chemicals or swim. Then it took 4 days to come back start circulating after I had filled pool backup with water, even though I had called texted the owner several times who guaranteed in the beginning to let him know ASAP once water level was up above skimmer, which I did got Zero response for days!! Then his worker came out scolding me for not having circulation going in new Gunite, as he was supposed to change out my old filter with a new one ( no new plumbing was needed, just exchanging old one for a new one, which owner said they would do when water level was ready for them to run filter. Of course that did not happen either!! So then his worker without notifying me, started up old dirty filter, emptying all dirty algae crap back into my brand new resurfaced pool!! Then again worker told me he did not know anything about exchanging out filters owner would be calling me at 12pm, which he did not do. I had to track owner down b/c he Never contacted me then would lie say either he did try contact me, haha which I had my caller ID logs messages showing he had not in fact showed I had contacted him without a response. Then b/c of constant bs lies I was being told by owner his employees ( which I think was all the owner b/c the workers were upset as well b/c they were not being told what was going on either) I requested to communicate via text, so I would have everything in writing of course owner did not want that gave some excuse as to how it to hard for him to text b/c he is busy . Then his coping stone workers were supposed to fix a little area on side of filter side of steps ( couple loose stones on outside edge of pool) but has yet to happen. I did not want to pay all the money ($8000) until the job was completely finished but on day 2 he cane wanted full payment then to continue working gave him his word he would take care of me. As a disabled Army veteran take people at their word, maybe in this day and age is my weakness b/c my word is my guarantee with my life, but not for this company. Once owner had my money, all communication from him ceased!! I never got care instructions, when he or workers were coming back, how often pool needed brushed, when to add chemicals, when is it safe to swim, when can I vacuum the pool, what about stains, what about swapping out old filter with new filte, what about coping stone work. Once money went into his hand, it was done. Still to this day, I have called, sent texts, emails about coping stone, filter (which I had to just pay additional money to have it installed), coping stone that needs fixed Zero responses. The only positive is they started work quickly but in hindsight that was probably just so they could get $8,000 from a disabled Army veteran. Not worth heartache, stress, or hassle to go through. Find a better company that will treat you right, do what they say they are going to do, communicate with you, and address any concerns or issues you have!!!"

FAQs for pool construction and installation projects in Seagoville, TX

While it is possible to put a pool on a concrete slab, it’s not recommended. This can damage the liner of your pool and creates a rough floor that’s not pleasant. Professional installers use a sand base to create a level surface and ensure that your pool floor is comfortable.

Sand is a fine material that creates a smooth bottom for your pool. Other materials, such as dirt, could contain rocks that damage your pool liner.

Pool sand is also known as mason sand. The different types include concrete sand, yellow mason and white sand.
