"In February 2020, Mad River Pool Construction completed a total remodel of our forty-three-year-old pool. The project included: complete re-plumbing, new surface with added spa, sun shelf, benches, steps, swim-out, LED lighting, cleaner, control automation, and 1,500 square foot Travertine decking. My wife and I have been in the construction trade for over forty years, and we are familiar with qualifying contractors. Not only by referring to online reviews, but also reaching out to many of the material and equipment suppliers for our project. As well as inquiring with representatives about said contractors’ qualifications and proper installation of their products. That being said, we had multiple sources to consult when it came to the remodel of our pool. When asked, almost every one of them named Mad River Pool Construction as one of their top-rated installers and preferred vendors (they pay their bills on time). After interviewing and obtaining estimates from numerous companies, it became abundantly clear to us that Mad River Pool Construction met all of our requirements and was the right contractor for the project. Mike and the crew of Mad River employees, promptly started our project on the date agreed upon and continued in a workman-like manner until it was completed. Mike and Jeff’s knowledge and supervision of our entire remodel was the leading contributors in our project being completed smoothly, in a timely manner, and on budget. We would highly recommend Mad River Pools for any project you have in mind. Mike, Jeff, and all the Mad River crew are true craftsman! Mike’s representatives were all extremely professional and a pleasure to work with throughout our project. After all was said and done, the only thing my wife and I could say was, “WOW!! "Thuy was excellent!! She was so very knowledgeable and very detail oriented about everything. We really appreciated how well she communicated with us from day one. Keith and Quyen were so amazing with the installation!! "Honest Review ? Disappointed Despite Repairs I?ve hesitated to leave a negative review because the company has addressed every issue we?ve encountered since our pool build started. But after almost a year, the list of problems is long?and unfortunately, the resolution process has been frustrating from start to finish. Most recently, we had to have our cracking waterline glass tile replaced with porcelain. But this is just one of many issues we?ve faced. The biggest frustration has been that every time the company came out to fix something, it required constant follow-up and badgering just to get them to show up. And almost without fail, each visit to fix a problem seemed to create a new one. They?ve acid washed our pool three times now. Initially, it looks great?but the white streaks in our Tahoe Blue finish always return. I?ve maintained proper chemical balance since they completed the pool in November, so I know this isn?t a maintenance issue. I?m really concerned this is a sign"
