"Very Professional , they did a fantastic job removing dead ash trees and cleaning up after .... They accommodated my specific times of coming to give me the quote and then as promised they called ahead and showed up and worked the whole time they were here. ... Very satified with the job.... and the price...... my neighbors noticed the work they did also and they were impressed.... I found them in the Clipper Magazine and glad of it.... "Earth Tenders Tree Care and the owner are awesome. He worked with me for a great experience and a great value for the job. They worked extremely hard on the two giant trees in my backyard. I would recommend Earth Tenders to family and friends."

"We had a big tree fall on our house during an ice storm and Highland Trees had a solution as if it was second nature. I contacted several tree removal services and while some of them had a good plan, Highland Trees had both a plan and equipment to do it. It was in a tight spot where most equipment couldn’t fit and there was no access to the surrounding area. They scheduled a time to remove it and coordinated with a crane to cut and lift pieces of the tree up and out. It was all done in one day and went smoothly. Their initial price was just under other services while the final price came out a bit lower than I expected. I 100% would recommend them, especially for anything that seems impossible."

"Nate called within minutes of receiving my Angi request. He stopped by our property and called us back within an hour to give us a quote. He gave us a couple days to seek other quotes and showed both professional persistence and patience. He showed up the following day, stayed in open communication, answering to text messages quickly and efficiently. We met him at the property and did the work expected of him surprisingly quickly. We worried about finding the right person for months, and Nate made it so easy and eased our mind in minutes. I really appreciate the professional and friendly service, and fully insured. We will be recommending him and using him again in the future for any tree removal services, hands down."

Palm tree removal expenses range from $150 to $1,500, with pricing primarily determined by the tree's height and accessibility. Removing taller specimens requires specialized equipment and safety protocols, pushing costs toward the upper end of this range. Stump grinding represents an additional expense of $175 to $550 if needed. Obtaining multiple removal estimates helps ensure competitive pricing for your specific situation.
Palm growth rates vary considerably by species, with most gaining approximately one to two feet annually under favorable conditions. You'll notice substantial development within three to five years after planting. Many varieties reach their characteristic appearance within seven to 10 years. The aesthetic enhancement to your property increases progressively as the palm matures, potentially adding considerable curb appeal and landscape value.
Several palm varieties demonstrate impressive cold tolerance for non-tropical environments. The needle palm ranks among the hardiest options, capable of surviving brief temperature drops to surprisingly low levels. Depending on size and availability, cold-resistant varieties cost between $100 and $300. Strategic placement in protected locations and appropriate winter protection measures significantly improve survival rates in challenging climates.
Professional palm trimming services cost between $100 and $1,500 per tree. This wide price range reflects variations in palm height, frond density, and access challenges. Taller specimens require specialized equipment and greater safety precautions, significantly increasing service costs. Most palm varieties benefit from annual or semi-annual maintenance to remove dead fronds and seed pods while maintaining an attractive appearance.
