"Godoy's Tree Service had to reschedule due to the weather, which was understandable. Godoy's was friendly, very professional when assessing the job and gave me a written estimate for the job. They scheduled the appointment for the next day and called when they were on their way to give the estimate. They stayed in contact with me and was willing to go out of their way to answer any questions I had. The estimate was reasonably priced and I would hire them for future jobs as well as recommend Godoy's Tree Service to friends."

"This company is FANTASTIC! The crew that comes out is amazing! They do a fantastic job cutting the trees down and are very aware of the surroundings so they don t damage anything (cars etc). and when they clean up you would never know they were there, it is spotless. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone that needs tree service - their employees are very friendly and they are reasonably priced!"

"Spoke with Jeff as he was next door working a job for a neighbor. Jeff was fantastic, communication was spot on. He made time to come by and inspect a tree that I suspected needed removal. He was honest about his team's availability, to my surprise, he had another job in my area that was finishing up and called to see if they could swing by to take care of my tree. I was absolutely ecstatic he was able to do this. Jeff and his team will absolutely get my next project for tree trimming. The tree was removed super quickly, and the yard cleaned up back to being immaculate!!! Thank you Jeff and Team!!! If you're not giving Jeff a shot, you're missing out!!!!"

FAQs for tree service projects in Livonia, MI

Palm tree removal expenses range from $150 to $1,500, with pricing primarily determined by the tree's height and accessibility. Removing taller specimens requires specialized equipment and safety protocols, pushing costs toward the upper end of this range. Stump grinding represents an additional expense of $175 to $550 if needed. Obtaining multiple removal estimates helps ensure competitive pricing for your specific situation.

Palm growth rates vary considerably by species, with most gaining approximately one to two feet annually under favorable conditions. You'll notice substantial development within three to five years after planting. Many varieties reach their characteristic appearance within seven to 10 years. The aesthetic enhancement to your property increases progressively as the palm matures, potentially adding considerable curb appeal and landscape value.

Several palm varieties demonstrate impressive cold tolerance for non-tropical environments. The needle palm ranks among the hardiest options, capable of surviving brief temperature drops to surprisingly low levels. Depending on size and availability, cold-resistant varieties cost between $100 and $300. Strategic placement in protected locations and appropriate winter protection measures significantly improve survival rates in challenging climates.

Professional palm trimming services cost between $100 and $1,500 per tree. This wide price range reflects variations in palm height, frond density, and access challenges. Taller specimens require specialized equipment and greater safety precautions, significantly increasing service costs. Most palm varieties benefit from annual or semi-annual maintenance to remove dead fronds and seed pods while maintaining an attractive appearance.
