"Grind and Gone Tree Service did a great job! They gave us advice on whether to remove one of our questionable trees, left one of the stumps tall enough to make an outside table, cut some of the wood for our fire pit and even cut me a nice slice of wood to use for my painting hobby. We haven't lived in NC very long so we had no idea who to call but by using the Angi service, they provided us with a professional, friendly, reasonably priced service that I will recommend to everyone I know!! Thanks Randy and Tim! It was a pleasure meeting you guys!"

"I spoke with Justin Dugan and he is very professional. We actually scheduled an appointment but we got in touch with another service through referral from our builder and we decided to go with the other service because they actually are able to do tree removal and septic system and we need both."

"These guys went above and beyond. Asked for lights to be hung and a step on my deck to be replaced, they did this plus blew my leaves, cleaned out my gutters and upon request trimmed up some trees. You would never know they were here they cleaned up my property so well. Will be calling on them again. Thank you for jobs well done!!"

"Kikers Tree Service arrived on 07-25-2019 and began working immediately. They cut down 7 trees that were huge. Four trees at least 100' or more. This was our 3rd time using Kikers Tree Service and each time we are pleased. After calling other tree services we decided Kikers was the one that could best handle our needs. They cleared all debris and blew off our deck and patio. They were precise and orderly. We had the trees removed due to storms. During a recent storm one tree lost limbs that fell on our roof and fence. We were very fortunate no roof damage only satellite dish damage."

"We were very happy with Kevin's work of removing a tree stump, and all the roots that came with it. He did the job, cleaned up afterwards and we really appreciated his integrity. We will certainly recommend him to our friends."

"Everything about the service was great but I could not give perfect score because I expected the yard would be cleaned when they finished. I was not told and did not know that the holes would be left open and all the sawdust and dirt piled all around. I am disabled and elderly. I am still trying to find help to fill the holes and clean up the mounds of sawdust. And that will cost more! Mr Huskens was very kind, and communicated with me throughout the process, and even made a trip back to me to give the receipt for my payment."

Palm tree removal expenses range from $150 to $1,500, with pricing primarily determined by the tree's height and accessibility. Removing taller specimens requires specialized equipment and safety protocols, pushing costs toward the upper end of this range. Stump grinding represents an additional expense of $175 to $550 if needed. Obtaining multiple removal estimates helps ensure competitive pricing for your specific situation.
Palm growth rates vary considerably by species, with most gaining approximately one to two feet annually under favorable conditions. You'll notice substantial development within three to five years after planting. Many varieties reach their characteristic appearance within seven to 10 years. The aesthetic enhancement to your property increases progressively as the palm matures, potentially adding considerable curb appeal and landscape value.
Several palm varieties demonstrate impressive cold tolerance for non-tropical environments. The needle palm ranks among the hardiest options, capable of surviving brief temperature drops to surprisingly low levels. Depending on size and availability, cold-resistant varieties cost between $100 and $300. Strategic placement in protected locations and appropriate winter protection measures significantly improve survival rates in challenging climates.
Professional palm trimming services cost between $100 and $1,500 per tree. This wide price range reflects variations in palm height, frond density, and access challenges. Taller specimens require specialized equipment and greater safety precautions, significantly increasing service costs. Most palm varieties benefit from annual or semi-annual maintenance to remove dead fronds and seed pods while maintaining an attractive appearance.
