"Walt is the BEST. We have a gorgeous, custom front door on our new (to us) house, but the frame and the surrounding wood was severely rotted. Other contractors quoted us over $10k to replace the entire door (which is in excellent shape). Walt was able to use our door, but replaced the frame and rotted wood. He also made sure the rot wouldn't happen again by fixing the overall construction of the entry. It looks like a brand-new entry! "I had two semi-dead ash trees threatening my deck and my house. These 70ft trees were along my property line and less than 20 feet from my deck. I was afraid that a severe storm would bring them down. Mr. Slocum brought studied the situation. We agreed on a price and he brought in his equipment and crew who skillfully brought them down piece by piece. I was amazed how accurately and carefully he got the job done. They put on a fine show. They stacked the big pieces onto a truck, ground up the rest and hauled it all away. I was very please with the work. They had to navigate their trucks and equipment through some other a large maple trees to do this job and didn't damage a twig. These things weighed tons. I would certainly call them back the next time I needed tree work. "
