"Excellent service. I called to setup a consultation for the removal of a dead tree in my backyard. Their foreman arrived on the same day (on a weekend) and gave me a quote to remove the dead tree as well as some brush in the general area. Work was completed during that week and the crew did an excellent job cleaning everything up. Would definitely hire again."

"The Service Tree Care team arrived on time, worked non-stop until the job was done and cleaned up after themselves. The price was very competitive. I had 3 large poplar trees removed and the job was done in about 6 hours."

"We had a huge, 200+ foot, tree that had died and needed removal. This tree was alongside our church as well as next to a neighbor's garage. They had all the needed equipment to cut the tree safely, using a crane to remove the large limbs first and reducing the tree down to the stump. (Stump removal scheduled for a future date.) They were friendly and were considerate towards the concerns of the neighbor. Hopefully, our other large trees won't need to be removed, but I will call these folks up again to do that work, if needed."

"I can't say enough positive things about him and his team. I don't normally write reviews, but I had to given the outstanding work he did. The tree work I had him do was difficult, with all trees close to my house. With every one, he carefully roped off each limb and gently lowered them to the ground. He stayed on site the entire day, and made sure things went perfectly. He used care when working around my delicate landscape plants, In addition, I had at least 5 others provide estimates for this work, and his was one of the least expensive. If you want professional tree service at a good price, Gordon W. Frazier is your man!"

"We were delighted with the responsiveness, work, and price for R&R to take down the upper portion of a tall tree that had snapped 50' above ground, with the snapped top hanging precariously, partially attached but ready to fall. We got three estimates. The first tree company kept saying how dangerous it was, how difficult to take it down, how complicated, and then said it would cost $1500. The 2nd company wanted to tie the top of the tree to their truck and pull it down, for $600 (an option we thought was highly questionable). R&R came out within 24 hours of our call, sized it up, explained in detail how they would go up an adjacent tree, tie off the broken tree section for safety, then climb the problem tree 50' and cut down the broken portion and lower it to the ground, then cut it up for us -- for $480, using a crew of three. We saw other great reviews on Angies List and signed a contract with R&R and within a few days they had done it professionally, safely, just as they said. We also had them prune two overgrown crape myrtles, for $100 each, and they did an excellent job with them as well, and cleaned up everything afterwards. We were completely satisfied and definitely would use them again."

"Charles Walters and his crew from AAA Tree Service did a great job removing a large, dead maple tree and stump from my front yard in Arlington. The crew arrived on time and performed in a diligent, workmanlike manner. The cost estimate was competitive. AAA Tree Service should be on your shortlist of bidders. They truly are the “King of Trees.”"

Palm tree removal expenses range from $150 to $1,500, with pricing primarily determined by the tree's height and accessibility. Removing taller specimens requires specialized equipment and safety protocols, pushing costs toward the upper end of this range. Stump grinding represents an additional expense of $175 to $550 if needed. Obtaining multiple removal estimates helps ensure competitive pricing for your specific situation.
Palm growth rates vary considerably by species, with most gaining approximately one to two feet annually under favorable conditions. You'll notice substantial development within three to five years after planting. Many varieties reach their characteristic appearance within seven to 10 years. The aesthetic enhancement to your property increases progressively as the palm matures, potentially adding considerable curb appeal and landscape value.
Several palm varieties demonstrate impressive cold tolerance for non-tropical environments. The needle palm ranks among the hardiest options, capable of surviving brief temperature drops to surprisingly low levels. Depending on size and availability, cold-resistant varieties cost between $100 and $300. Strategic placement in protected locations and appropriate winter protection measures significantly improve survival rates in challenging climates.
Professional palm trimming services cost between $100 and $1,500 per tree. This wide price range reflects variations in palm height, frond density, and access challenges. Taller specimens require specialized equipment and greater safety precautions, significantly increasing service costs. Most palm varieties benefit from annual or semi-annual maintenance to remove dead fronds and seed pods while maintaining an attractive appearance.
