"It was alright but feel that the job was overcharged for the services received. Front tree looks good but lots of cut branches still hanging in tree. Side tree was barely touched and could use a little more trimming. Leroy was very polite and friendly but I would hesitate to recommend to anyone."

"I went through home adviser to hire someone to remove a tree stump from my yard and Big timber tree climbers were the only one to call me. They came over on the same day ready to do the job. I was impressed usually they just come and check it out. I hired them on the spot and they took care of it in less than 30 minutes. He was really friendly and charged me a great price. I was very satisfied."

"I had cottonwood roots that were causing damage to my home’s foundation. And found one root sprouting a new tree. I called Cesar. He recommended the entire stump be removed and sent men that started on it right away. He and his men removed the stump that must of weighed 1200 lbs, and many huge roots going to my home. I Highly recommend this company. Professional, knowledgeable, and hardworking working from beginning to end."

"Very prompt service. My apricot tree split in the wind and I was concerned it might fall on the house. They came out in 2 hours, on a Saturday, and cut down the remaining tree. They came back 3 days later and cleaned up all the branches, leaves, everything. Very reasonably priced."

"The contractor provided a great price and prompt schedule for installing a new tree, but on the date of the appointment he called to say the desired tree was not available locally."
Palm tree removal expenses range from $150 to $1,500, with pricing primarily determined by the tree's height and accessibility. Removing taller specimens requires specialized equipment and safety protocols, pushing costs toward the upper end of this range. Stump grinding represents an additional expense of $175 to $550 if needed. Obtaining multiple removal estimates helps ensure competitive pricing for your specific situation.
Palm growth rates vary considerably by species, with most gaining approximately one to two feet annually under favorable conditions. You'll notice substantial development within three to five years after planting. Many varieties reach their characteristic appearance within seven to 10 years. The aesthetic enhancement to your property increases progressively as the palm matures, potentially adding considerable curb appeal and landscape value.
Several palm varieties demonstrate impressive cold tolerance for non-tropical environments. The needle palm ranks among the hardiest options, capable of surviving brief temperature drops to surprisingly low levels. Depending on size and availability, cold-resistant varieties cost between $100 and $300. Strategic placement in protected locations and appropriate winter protection measures significantly improve survival rates in challenging climates.
Professional palm trimming services cost between $100 and $1,500 per tree. This wide price range reflects variations in palm height, frond density, and access challenges. Taller specimens require specialized equipment and greater safety precautions, significantly increasing service costs. Most palm varieties benefit from annual or semi-annual maintenance to remove dead fronds and seed pods while maintaining an attractive appearance.
