"I canâ t say enough about Wade and Roots 2 Leaves Tree Service. We had several very tall (at least 80 feet tall) dead trees behind our property in Brian Head. We knew we needed them removed but getting someone responsible to come up to Brian Head and give you a bid and then complete the job is close to impossible. I left a message for Wade. He called me back the next day. I explained that we were not up there but needed a bid to remove all the dead trees behind our property. He went up and gave us a bid, which was VERY reasonable. Then he sent us his certificate of liability insurance and even got the permit needed from the town of Brian Head to cut the trees down for us. He stayed in contact with us during the entire process. He showed up this morning to do the job. We were so pleased with his professionalism and knowledge about trees and cutting them down. It was tricky because if any of the trees fell the wrong way they would have landed on our building. We had complete confidence in Wade after meeting him and speaking with him. The job is complete and he did an amazing job. I highly recommend Wade of Roots 2 Leaves Tree Service to anyone needing any tree service. He is dependable, responsible, reasonable, and knowledgeable."

"We had a tricky treat to take down because it hung over our fence above the neighbors pool. We had used Dan before for our palm trees in the front and when I sent him a picture of the work to be done, he said he could do that no problem. Dan is quick, efficient, and pretty fun to watch. He explains his work as he goes if you want him to, and his pricing can’t be beat!"

"The best experience I have ever had with a service provider. He responded promptly and provided very good work and service at at fair rate. While he was here I had him do several other projects I had been putting off because I didn't know who to call."

Palm tree removal expenses range from $150 to $1,500, with pricing primarily determined by the tree's height and accessibility. Palm growth rates vary considerably by species, with most gaining approximately one to two feet annually under favorable conditions. You'll notice substantial development within three to five years after planting. Many varieties reach their characteristic appearance within seven to 10 years. The aesthetic enhancement to your property increases progressively as the palm matures, potentially adding considerable curb appeal and landscape value.

Several palm varieties demonstrate impressive cold tolerance for non-tropical environments. The needle palm ranks among the hardiest options, capable of surviving brief temperature drops to surprisingly low levels. Depending on size and availability, cold-resistant varieties cost between $100 and $300. Strategic placement in protected locations and appropriate winter protection measures significantly improve survival rates in challenging climates.

Professional palm trimming services cost between $100 and $1,500 per tree. This wide price range reflects variations in palm height, frond density, and access challenges. Taller specimens require specialized equipment and greater safety precautions, significantly increasing service costs. Most palm varieties benefit from annual or semi-annual maintenance to remove dead fronds and seed pods while maintaining an attractive appearance.
