"This wasn’t my first phone call. My first phone call I was greeted by a nice and professional receptionist who made an appointment to get a free estimate. When Ivan called, the first question he asked me was what year my house was built when I explained I wanted old popcorn ceiling removed. I was very impressed since I had read homes built in the 80s were needing to be tested for asbestos prior to popcorn removal and we had that done already. Thankfully our home was asbestos free. The knowledge shown from the first sentence and I was sold! They were on time and finished the same day as we needed. The job was labor intensive and my appreciation and thanks to the two employees who worked hard and did an absolutely amazing job. I’m sorry I did not take any before and after photos. I will be using this company again!"

"I'm sure if the owner had been present on the job that everything would have been done to my satisfaction. We had asked that the Mesquite beans be racked up and was told by the manager that he leaves them to decompose. Strike One! We also asked that the bottom spiny leaves of a Sotol be removed. The first response was that the manager would have to sharpen his tool. I believe the managers name was Rick but frankly can't remember now. The tree limbs that were removed looks to have been done with a dull blade/chainsaw. The manager insisted that he bring a full crew even after leaving several large piles of debris for several days until I contacted the owner. The owner was very cooperative. I didn't tell him everything I've written here because I just didn't want to go through it again. The Sotol was recently trimmed by me by tying a rope around the spiny needle-like leaves and using a regular manual hedge trimmer to remove the bottom leaves."

"Pleased with Steve and his team in general, though we were looking for a more interactive / thorough service: B & G will come and mow and rake, but they do not suggest other services ("That Orange tree should be trimmed up, would you like us to do that?" "Your sprinkler head should be replaced---would you like to to pick them up and install them next time?") or do any yard clean up that entails non-landscape materials. Also, the day of service seems to be a moving target, though Steve is very good about calling you the night before; I need to mow our lawn every week in summer to keep it looking good, and more that once I mowed Saturday or Sunday, expecting B&G Thursday  of the next week, but they came Monday.... my wife had to  specifically ask for some obviously discarded wood pieces piled up to be removed---they raked around them prior to her making the request ; We have had a downed tree limb in the yard for several weeks, never once have they asked if they can help us by removing it.  If you are looking for someone to do nothing more than mow and rake (that means rake around anything you might have in the yard, including obvious waste / trash) this is a fine team.  If you want more service oriented maintenance, either be very specific with them on what you want, or look for a more proactive vendor."
