Hey all, My name is Matt Kruger, Owner of The Premium Handyman Vancouver to Longview LLC. I've enjoyed fixing things and helping people since my very first job at Ace Hardware 20+ years ago. Over the last 2 decades, I've been able to hone in on my home remodeling/maintenance skills and am able to complete a wide variety of tasks. I decided to get licensed as a general contractor because there are a lot of home maintenance, remodeling, and fix-it tasks that many homeowners may not know how to do or don't feel comfortable doing themselves. On top of that, I noticed a lot of contractors are charging an egregious amount to homeowners, sometimes as high as $200/hr. Insane! "My husband and I recently ordered window treatments from Stoneside for the lower level of our condo located in NW Portland. The order included full length roman shades to cover windows and a sliding glass door in the lower level living room and drapes for a guest bedroom. The treatments needed to be measured and installed carefully to block some pretty invasive light pollution coming in from a streetlamp. We could not be happier with the results! Melanie, our Stoneside consultant, worked patiently with us and provided a number of samples to help us chose patterns that we liked. Understandably, under current Covid restrictions, there were a few glitches after the order was placed. Melanie informed us immediately, and if changes included additional costs, Stoneside stood by the original order and did not tack on the extra charges. Joe, our installer, was very knowledgeable and conscientious. He took extra time to explain what to expect and point out areas that might present a challenge, and in the end the window treatments were installed perfectly. "I decided to replace my very large window covering with a honeycomb/sheer covering that I'd seen on YouTube. I wanted the dual covering so that I could have the benefit of honeycomb that keeps rooms cooler from the summer heat and warmer in winter. But I didn't like how dark this type of covering could make a room and in particular a small den like mine. Having the duality of a sheer added to it made sense. The treatment which I loved was installed but within 3 days it wouldn't move! I called Accent and Dan came out the next day. It was a manufacturing defect and took some time to "repair" the blind, but he did so in home. I'd feared he'd have to return it for repair and my window would be bare for days. But bless him he has the skills and knew exactly needed be done. My blinds are gorgeous and functional just as I wanted. I can have partial sheer and honeycomb or all of either showing. I highly recommend this company! They have a large inventory of selections and installed in a very reasonable timeframe. And they responded to an issue quickly and with knowledge. Thanks to everyone at Accent who have given me the perfect window covering!!"

They ripped out carpet, rolled a protectant barrier down to eliminate orders left behind, moved all furniture, laid the floors, shop vacâ d the house, moved all furniture back and disposed of all trash left behind.
