"The man I talked to was very professional and timely. However, he explained that this particular job was beyond the scope of what their company does. I would certainly use them on another 'issue'.

"MLS Restoration and Remodeling truly does offer amazing service. My roof was in bad shape, due to a recent storm that passed through my area. The team at MLS were all able to answer my questions any time I had one. They walked me through the options, and explained the benefits on an upgraded shingle, and the best part is that it saved me money on my homeowner’s insurance, which basically paid for the upgrade. They were experts in dealing with my insurance adjuster, worked hand and in hand with them, to make sure I got the maximum benefits for my claim. I was nervous about the whole deal, but MLS responded promptly to all my needs and was fair and honest with all issues as they arose. I was amazed at the attention to detail. I haven't found one bit of trash left onsite, which I understand is not common. They really know how to work together as a team to make sure that their customers are 100% satisfied, from the sales team, to the installers, and back office personnel. They did what they said they were going to do when they said they were going to do it. MLS came through for me, once again, and saved the day!"

Custom window treatments cost $800 per window, ranging from $150 to $3,000 for materials alone, before labor is factored in. Blinds are the most economical option, while custom curtains and drapes are more expensive due to intricate designs and premium materials. The final cost depends on your style preferences, material quality, and the complexity of the installation.
Mini blinds are the most cost-effective window treatment available, providing efficient light control and exceptional value. They offer the lowest cost option at $600 per set and serve as a dependable solution for budget-conscious homeowners. Roller shades and valances offer cost savings by avoiding premium materials, ensuring that quality design and functional installations remain uncompromised.
Prices increase with larger windows, premium materials, and additional labor for complex installations. High-grade fabrics, hardwoods, intricate designs, and motorized hardware all contribute to the total cost. For instance, drapes run more than Roman shades because they use more fabric and detailing. Still, a well-chosen treatment pays you back in style, privacy, and insulation.
Layering treatments—say, a sheer shade paired with floor-length drapes—adds depth and polish to any room. Sticking to one color family keeps the look cohesive while mixing textures boosts dimension, sound absorption, and energy efficiency. You also gain flexible light control, shifting from full sun to total blackout without swapping hardware.
Energy-efficient window treatments lower energy costs by minimizing heat transfer through advanced fabric technology and design. They block excessive sunlight while maintaining a consistent indoor temperature, thereby reducing the demand on heating and cooling systems. They retain heat in winter and keep your home cool in summer, maintaining year-round comfort and producing measurable savings on electric bills through superior energy management.
Bay, picture, and dormer windows rarely pair well with shutters because their unique shapes demand more flexible coverings. For a cleaner fit and better performance, choose treatments tailored to those dimensions—think custom shades, drapes, or valances that accentuate the architecture instead of competing with it.
