I would like to especially thank the salesperson Peter for his knowledge, commitment and timely response to issues throughout the project. He helped me select strong 9/16” windows with visible transmission of 60% (thus, the outside from inside looks bright) while the solar heat gain was limited to 32% (thus, the house is protected from excessive heat). The windows are rated for +90 and -90 pressure, which is well above the Miami Dade guidelines. The doors are strong and aesthetic. In summary, I received strong, hurricane protection doors and windows that also shield me from heat and noise, move smoothly, and are visually appealing. The quality installers at ASP, Yosyenny and Emilio, demonstrated exceptional skill and attention to detail. They worked diligently and efficiently, ensuring that each window and door was perfectly fitted and securely installed. Despite the extensive work, they maintained a neat and organized workspace, leaving no mess behind. Roy is also a capable installer. "I got quotes from other window installers. All but Sun Control, wanted to install windows their way and no other way. I was not happy with this. That is until Sun Control came over and looked at the job. Patrick, listened to me and agreed with what I wanted done. Others wanted to remove my pull downs but Patrick said his company could and will keep my pull down, and install windows and screen without no problem. Great!!! Today windows and screens were installed by Vince (outstanding tech) At one point he was 1/16" off and he didn't like the way windows were lining up, so he took the time to pull off the frame and redo the frame until he was pleased with the alignment. "Had old awning type windows that wouldn't open. The "crank" mechanism wouldn't budge. Hoping tech could (1) lubricate or (2)replace with new. Tech was finally able to open in spite of serious mud wasp nests "gluing" the window shut. Did a good job attempting to knock them out. Unfortunately, he claimed the cranks were good, did not need replacing, but I an unable to close the window. May try Home Depot if I can replace with a handyman, or be forced to buy a new window....sigh"
