"If I could give 10 stars, I would! Building a home from afar was daunting, but hiring Ricky Sprague of Generations Custom Homes (GCH) was the best decision we made. Ricky guided us patiently, respected our budget, and kept everything transparent with his “magic spreadsheet,” showing exactly where every dollar went. The craftsmanship is flawless—trim, tile, and finishes exceeded our expectations. Ricky’s integrity shone when he fixed small issues before we even noticed, like a window alignment and a quartz countertop cut that wasn’t 90 degrees. He had it redone perfectly at no cost to us. Communication was seamless, and his dedication, honesty, and care for his customers are unmatched. Our 3-bedroom cottage feels like a masterpiece, and the process gave us complete peace of mind. If you’re building in the MDI area, stop searching—hire Ricky and GCH. They don’t just build homes, they deliver excellence."

"Jim did a great job. He quickly assessed the problem and then took our unit with him to work on it more. When he got back to us, the fix would have cost more than it was worth. He gave us options for a new or refurbished PC. We felt the refurbished was a good deal and chose that. He came back and set that up and we are very happy with it. He then took a look at my laptop and again took it along. He tuned it up and installed a speed upgrade we wanted. Of course, we paid extra for the new unit and upgrades, but we thought the price was very fair. Jim seemed very knowledgeable and responsive. We will definitely call him again if we need any computer services."

"Excellent service! Open communication about the progress of the repair and went above and beyond to ensure other aspects of the computer were up to date and running well. I can't recommend WGS enough!!"

"I had a number of small projects that all had rapidly jumped to the top of my to-do list. The hot water heater was in imminent danger of failing, the window was starting to leak, etc. I wanted to find a company that could cover all these things so I wouldn't have to meet with several different contractors. Being your own general contractor may pay off on big projects, but it's not worth it for little stuff because of the time investment. NE Renovations had a great Angie's list reputation so I gave them a call. Richard called me back later the same day and we scheduled the estimate for two days later - he was extremely flexible. He came out and evaluated what I needed and said he would be emailing me the estimate in a few days. The following Monday (we had met on Thursday) I had my estimate which was completely reasonable. I also liked the estimate because it broke down each task by price so I knew what each segment of the project was going to cost out of the whole. I agreed to the estimate and he immediately got me a contract by email. Once they received the deposit they scheduled my work. From when I called for the estimate until the work was completed, a total of 2 weeks had passed, which I consider quite good turn around. Richard and his fellow workers were professional and friendly and I felt very comfortable with them in my home. The work was completed as described and I am very pleased. I plan on using them again - I have a 110 year old house and if it's not one thing, it's another around here!"

"

I have had them since 1994 because I like the service and stuff provided to me. I have several properties in Alabama and they have done work there too. I have not had any problems out of American Home Shield. Their responsiveness is one of the main reasons why I continue to use them. The price is included in my premium.
