"The men from Matthew and Jody's were thorough, explained their estimates, carefully examined my yard for other trees that might need to be removed in the future, and their prices were more than fair. Their estimate was hundreds of dollars less than the other two companies I contacted.
They cut up and hauled off the trees they removed, then used a blower to make sure the yard was as clean as possible.
They followed up afterwards to be sure that their work was satisfactory.
I highly recommend them for their honesty, integrity, fair-pricing, and the quality of their work.

"I have never had to hire a tree service company but after reading the google reviews I thought I would give them a try and Iâ m so glad I did! I called two other companies before calling Montpelier because Iâ ve always been a fan of getting three quotes. Well the other two companies were wishy washy on when they could come for the estimate but Montpelier came that day! The quote was inline with my budget and they came out today cut down two trees and cleaned up after the job was done. The neat thing to me was that the owner came and he was also helping the guys clean up! I couldnâ t be happier!!!!"

Palm tree removal expenses range from $150 to $1,500, with pricing primarily determined by the tree's height and accessibility. Removing taller specimens requires specialized equipment and safety protocols, pushing costs toward the upper end of this range. Stump grinding represents an additional expense of $175 to $550 if needed. Obtaining multiple removal estimates helps ensure competitive pricing for your specific situation.
Palm growth rates vary considerably by species, with most gaining approximately one to two feet annually under favorable conditions. You'll notice substantial development within three to five years after planting. Many varieties reach their characteristic appearance within seven to 10 years. The aesthetic enhancement to your property increases progressively as the palm matures, potentially adding considerable curb appeal and landscape value.
Several palm varieties demonstrate impressive cold tolerance for non-tropical environments. The needle palm ranks among the hardiest options, capable of surviving brief temperature drops to surprisingly low levels. Depending on size and availability, cold-resistant varieties cost between $100 and $300. Strategic placement in protected locations and appropriate winter protection measures significantly improve survival rates in challenging climates.
Professional palm trimming services cost between $100 and $1,500 per tree. This wide price range reflects variations in palm height, frond density, and access challenges. Taller specimens require specialized equipment and greater safety precautions, significantly increasing service costs. Most palm varieties benefit from annual or semi-annual maintenance to remove dead fronds and seed pods while maintaining an attractive appearance.
