"Paid $200 to Angie's List for $400 of tree trimming services. Didn't hear anything from the company for nearly 2 weeks so I called them. They said that they did not receive notification of my payment to Angie's List or my contact information. They quoted me a cost of $700. + the $400 credit from Angie's List. My actual out of pocket cost was $900. I don't have the time to shop around for work such as this so I agreed to the cost. I had these same trees trimmed by another company a few years back for less than $700. Certainly it was not an $1,100 job which is what it cost me if Angie's $400 deal is considered as it should be. The work done was Okay I guess. Three of the trees appear to be a bit butchered but they will grow back I assume. The prior company that trimmed these same trees did a better job. I was not home when the work was completed. I was waiting on a statement from them to pay the remaining $700. I owed them. Less than 2 weeks after the work was done I get a call at work from them wanting their $700. Apparently they had my contact information after all. Their representative actually came to my place of employment that same day to pick up a check! Bottom line is the supposed $400. deal from Angie's List did nothing for me in terms of my cost for this project. I'm very confident I could have gotten the job done for less than the $900 out of pocket that I paid had I taken the time to get some other bids."

"Exceptional Tree Service! I recently hired Green line tree services to remove a massive oak tree from my property. They were fantastic! The crew was professional, efficient, and incredibly skilled. They worked carefully to protect my landscaping, and the cleanup was spotless. I was amazed at how smoothly the entire process went. "The work went well and was speedy.  The owner used about a five to seven man crew.  He used a lift crane to cut branches down and lowered them with ropes to his team.  His team used used a powerful wood chipper to handle the branches and saws to cut limbs into manageable sizes.  They also hauled away the trunk of the tree on a flatbed truck.  
Clean Up: They laid plywood under their equipment that was on our grass to keep the grass from being damaged.  They also swept up the street and grabbed lose debris that was in our yard from the tree. 
Sidenote: The tree was about three feet from our home so I was especially concerned about roof damage but the crew took great care not to damage our house.

"This company was so great. It took only about a week or so from the time I called to them actually being there, with a crane and all types of other equipment. The Oaks were probably 50 ft. tall and right next to the house. They are a well oiled machine and had all the work done on the same day which included ( de-stumping these beasts) except for bringing some added dirt for a low spot the next day. They were friendly and efficient and the only tree service we will be using again. Great company , cant say enough. Our neighbor was as impressed with them as well since some of the tree and equipment had to be on his property ."

The tree had a powerline on one side and telephone lines on the other. They were able to remove it like a surgeon transplanting a heart. These guys have my heart and I would hire them again in a heartbeat!"
