"Excellent. the back to back Nor'easters pummeled Westchester and all the tree services were backed up....Bill Demarest's team got to us quickly, assessed the risks of our partially downed tree and planned the work accordingly. they did a great job, neat, professional, took a lot of care in protecting the surrounding areas as they took down a very big sugar maple and removed a huge branch from that tree that fell in my side yard. They are great!"

"RJR did an amazing job taking down a very large unhealthy maple tree. The work required careful attention as the tree was situated at the corner of four properties. Their professionalism attending to the work of taking the tree down, clean up after, and removal of unwanted debris was stellar. I highly recommend RJR."

"The SavaTree team was really fantastic, from start to finish! Ross was really helpful in evaluating our trees and suggesting treatments, and was on site multiple times on the day of tree removal. Ours was particularly tricky as we're in a townhouse, and the tree had to removed from our back garden through the house. Johnny, Manny and Jose were a great team, really efficient and very neat, cleaning up our basement once they had completed the tree removal. We'll absolutely work with them again soon!"

"When we purchased our house in the Bronx 2 years ago, we interited a large tree that was being choked with years of boston ivy growth. 2 landscapers removed some of the lower vines, but none would tackle removing all the vines which extended about 40/50 feet up the tree. Lenny was the first of 8 tree trimmers Angie recommended who called me (never heard from 6 others) and he came over in 45 minutes to give me an estimate. The price for trimmiing about 10 trees was very reasonable (based on prior experience) and I hired him right away. He came with a crew the next morning and trimmed all the trees & vines, chipped all the leaves and branches and cleaned up the yard. His climber was amazing & they did a fantastic job!! I highly recommend Always Green and will use them again."

"The expertise and level of service is unlike any tree service I've ever used. We had a large, complex job taking down 3 huge decaying trees in a tight space. They brought in a massive crane and removed all three in less than 6 hours. Cut and stacked the good wood into 30 splittable oak logs leaving over a cord of firewood. Then went around the property trimming any other trees limbs that were unsafe. And they Almstead was the cheapest of 4 bids."

Palm tree removal expenses range from $150 to $1,500, with pricing primarily determined by the tree's height and accessibility. Removing taller specimens requires specialized equipment and safety protocols, pushing costs toward the upper end of this range. Stump grinding represents an additional expense of $175 to $550 if needed. Obtaining multiple removal estimates helps ensure competitive pricing for your specific situation.
Palm growth rates vary considerably by species, with most gaining approximately one to two feet annually under favorable conditions. You'll notice substantial development within three to five years after planting. Many varieties reach their characteristic appearance within seven to 10 years. The aesthetic enhancement to your property increases progressively as the palm matures, potentially adding considerable curb appeal and landscape value.
Several palm varieties demonstrate impressive cold tolerance for non-tropical environments. The needle palm ranks among the hardiest options, capable of surviving brief temperature drops to surprisingly low levels. Depending on size and availability, cold-resistant varieties cost between $100 and $300. Strategic placement in protected locations and appropriate winter protection measures significantly improve survival rates in challenging climates.
Professional palm trimming services cost between $100 and $1,500 per tree. This wide price range reflects variations in palm height, frond density, and access challenges. Taller specimens require specialized equipment and greater safety precautions, significantly increasing service costs. Most palm varieties benefit from annual or semi-annual maintenance to remove dead fronds and seed pods while maintaining an attractive appearance.
