"Expensive, but Iâ m glad to be rid of that miserable tree. It is a type of ash tree whose seeds are in little tear drop shaped droplets that cover the ground. It also lost two limbs in the last wind storm, one of which fell in the neighborâ s backyard and the other on top of a poor quince bush in my own yard. After learning that the cost of removal was about $1500 and a piecemeal cost would be $4 or 5K,, I decided to take the tree out. Removal really opens up the backyard.. Iâ m just glad that the limb that fell in the neighborâ s yard didnâ t damage her house. That would have been really expensive. The tree removal people were very experienced and considerate."
