"Great! They provided a quote that was reasonable. They showed up on time to do the work, and they did a great job. They also did a tremendous job of cleanup. Aside from the clear tree work, you would not have known someone had been there. Excellent!"

"AMAZING experience. I would definitely recommend Sawdust Tree Expert. I had a fairly large tree that needed to be removed, they gave me a very fair quote, and did an amazing job. In no time at all the tree was down and all the branches were gone. Absolutely blown away by their professionalism, their attention to details and their work ethics. Not to mention they were pleasant to speak with....I felt very pleased when they were done."

"Awesome, affordable, fast, clean quality tree removal. Highly skilled professional service.... they used ropes, zip lines, boom lifts etc... I had two huge oak trees. Both next to house, shed, fence, and power lines... removed easily with this awesome company. Would highly recommend and definitely using them again on any other properties I purchase."

"They did an amazing job! We have 8 trees that needed pruning as well as some downed branches on one of the trees from the last storm. We really appreciate how careful they were with the yard, flowers, and landscaping. Shawn asked us questions before he did the work about how we hoped it would look and followed through with it. They made sure to leave enough branches down low so the trees still provide privacy. They cleaned everything up beautifully afterwards. Great communication from beginning to end, super hard workers, and a great price!"
Palm tree removal expenses range from $150 to $1,500, with pricing primarily determined by the tree's height and accessibility. Removing taller specimens requires specialized equipment and safety protocols, pushing costs toward the upper end of this range. Stump grinding represents an additional expense of $175 to $550 if needed. Obtaining multiple removal estimates helps ensure competitive pricing for your specific situation.
Palm growth rates vary considerably by species, with most gaining approximately one to two feet annually under favorable conditions. You'll notice substantial development within three to five years after planting. Many varieties reach their characteristic appearance within seven to 10 years. The aesthetic enhancement to your property increases progressively as the palm matures, potentially adding considerable curb appeal and landscape value.
Several palm varieties demonstrate impressive cold tolerance for non-tropical environments. The needle palm ranks among the hardiest options, capable of surviving brief temperature drops to surprisingly low levels. Depending on size and availability, cold-resistant varieties cost between $100 and $300. Strategic placement in protected locations and appropriate winter protection measures significantly improve survival rates in challenging climates.
Professional palm trimming services cost between $100 and $1,500 per tree. This wide price range reflects variations in palm height, frond density, and access challenges. Taller specimens require specialized equipment and greater safety precautions, significantly increasing service costs. Most palm varieties benefit from annual or semi-annual maintenance to remove dead fronds and seed pods while maintaining an attractive appearance.
