We fully expect our unit to remain solid and beautiful for <br /> many many years.    <br />   <br /> Design sense <br />   <br /> As my wife and I sifted through design options, we found ourselves valuing Jed?s advice.  He had a sophisticated sense of proportion, scale, and design, and the end result could not have been more pleasing. <br />   <br /> Neatness <br /> He and his crew were meticulously clean and careful not to scrape anything in the house.  He's the only contractor we've had who didn't have to be asked to vacuum the floor outside our apartment.  He placed Masonite sheets on our floors to protect them (rather than just thick paper or tarps), providing better protection in case anything dropped. <br />   <br /> Professionalism <br />   <br /> During the design phase, Jed sent us renderings of the unit from all aspects, and then did it again when we made a change. He provided detailed plans and clearly explained all the details and why something would work and why an alternative wouldn't.  <br /> Jed also made up samples to help us select colors and woods.  After construction started, we were kept fully informed, receiving (via <br /> email) pictures of the unit as the work proceeded.  He was almost always available for a talk and responded quickly to emails. And his emails were clearly written. <br />   <br /> Fair price <br /> Amazingly, his price was very competitive for our large and fairly complex project. <br />   <br /> We would unreservedly recommend him. <br />"
