"Dave was very pleasant. He came to the house, gave me an estimate and started on the day we agreed. Project was a two day project, he came in the morning and worked the second day until the project was completed. If you have any opportunity to work with him you will be pleased."

I’m a reliable, detail-oriented handyman with a strong work ethic and a focus on getting the job done right the first time. I bring a broad skill set across repairs, maintenance, and small renovations, along with clear communication and respect for your time and space. I take pride in quality workmanship, showing up when I say I will, and leaving every project clean, safe, and built to last.

"Very quick response. I had two roofs that needed repair and Leroy and his crew were out at my house to replace the roofs that weekend. Very nice people, skilled, knowledgable and reasonably priced. We had to call him because we still had a leak in the Kitchen but they found the leak was in the seal of a sky-light and they pulled the sky-light apart, sealed it and reinstalled the sky-light for NO CHARGE!!!! Talk about customer service! I will always recommend Leroy to anyone that needs a contractor."

"We had a bathtub removed, a walk-in shower with tiled walls installed, and the bathroom painted. Workmanship and clean-up were good. He explained what he was doing as he went along, which we appreciated. Some delays after work was started, primarily out of his control. He would do better to have just said it's going to take a few days to straighten out, rather than to promise to show up to continue the work and then not show up as he did. We were not in any rush and are happy with the results. We'll hire him again. He's a decent guy and puts the time in when he's on the job."

FAQs for handyman service projects in Adirondack, NY

Winterizing shields your home’s structure and key systems from snow, ice, and freezing temperatures. By sealing drafts and tuning up heaters, you cut energy waste, extend the life of appliances and windows, and avoid surprise repair bills. A small up-front investment keeps rooms cozy and protects the value of your biggest asset all winter long.

Yes, it’s important to prepare your sprinkler system for the winter. Blowing out the lines and insulating above-ground parts keeps valves and pipes from splitting when temperatures drop. A quick winterization visit costs far less than repairing burst components in spring, and it ensures your lawn--and your wallet--stay in good shape once the thaw hits.

A full home winterization plan goes beyond sealing windows and pipes. You might schedule a home energy audit, cover outdoor furniture, service the snowblower, swap smoke-detector batteries, add outlet gaskets, and hang storm doors. Each step beefs up your home’s protection, cuts drafts, and lowers the chance of costly cold-weather damage.
