They also replaced a very old, flimsy stair & loft railing. Their attention to detail was fantastic & my rooms & railing are so beautiful. I’ll always recommend them to friends & co-workers for any projects they may have & I’ll call them again for my next project."

"We contacted two companies that repair concrete. The only thing they wanted to do was tear out the entire porch and replace the concrete. One told us we needed to contact some type of handyman to brace up the roof because they do not do that. I contacted Handyman Connection who sent out Steve. He suggested patching the bad spot then covering the entire porch with an epoxy coating. He would use a color that complemented the rest of the house. He used Olympic Rescue It.
He explained how the Handyman Connection works. They only provide labor  and we were responsible for materials. He would go to Lowes to pick up the proper stuff. They then called us for a credit card number. 
What he suggested was exactly what I thought should be able to be done. After talking to Steve for over an hour I could tell he knew what he was doing. He carved the blue whale at the zoo which he could not figure out  why they wanted it since they do not have any whales. 
He coated the entire porch to below the soil line and ran a thick bead of sealant around where there porch connected to the house.
The color really looked good.
Steve is in high demand so you may need to wait a few weeks for him to get to you.

He asked the right questions, expressed his confidence, experience, and strong interest in doing the job, gave a competitive price, and was patient while I got a few more estimates. "I purchased the Angie's List Big Deal for $99.00 which was for only the walls of the room.  I decided to have the all of the other areas i.e. trim, doors, ceiling painted also and purchased the additional service from Protect and Preserve to be performed when the walls were painted.
Mr. Sperback and his team arrived at 8:00 am just as he said they would do.  He and his team were very courteous and professional.  Mr. Sperback confirmed the work that would be performed prior to beginning the job.
I am very happy with the result.  He and his team are very detail oriented.  Rather than taping around the door knob, they removed and reinstalled it after the door was painted.  The room was completely finished within about 4 hours.  They cleaned up everything prior to leaving so one would ever know anyone had been here to paint that day unless aware that I had it done then.
I am very pleased with the work Mr. Sperback and his team performed and am working with him to have other painting performed this summer.
I'd like to add that I had to reschedule the painting a couple of times.  Mr. Sperback was always understanding and willing to reschedule to another time.  I would highly recommend Paint and Preserve Painting to any one thinking of having any painting performed.

I had communication problems. At times I spoke with the office secretary, the painting leader, and Mr. Smith. Unfortunately, not all of them were informed about what was going on at any one time. Nobody could answer a question without asking someone else first. I had issues trying to get an estimate for some rotten wood replacement. I told the painting leaders that I wanted an estimate as I was considering doing the repair myself. I never received an estimate or approved the work but came home one day to find it done. When I asked what I would be billed for the completed work, I was just told it would be reasonable. Once I got the bill, it in my opinion was not reasonable. For example, I was charged a material charge of $120 for 15 board foot of 2x6 which would be $25 at a lumber yard. When I asked Mr. Short about the charges, he was not aware of it as his secretary evidently computes the charges. I had already had an issue with Mr. Short telling me that a second coat of stain on my deck would be half cost of the first coat only to have it billed for significantly more by the office. When I expressed my concerns to Mr. Short said he was really busy, but he would look into it as he wanted me to be happy so I went ahead and paid him. That was a mistake, as I never heard back even after a follow up email. The job looks nice, but I am concerned that most of the house was given two coats in one day despite the manufacturer recommending 12 to 16 hours of dry time. I think they were behind due to weather, and were not paying attention to customer service at times.

"I'm very happy with it. When I had my windows done throughout the house, I had one that cracked and they told me they would repair that when they put the garden window in and they did not do that. Some of the insulation that they put around the window is coming out and they were suppose to replace that, or at least bring it to me so that I could replace it and they did not do that. When I first decided on the garden window I thought I would pay it off monthly and they ran it through some company called GreenSky and meanwhile I changed my mind and decided to pay it off and get it over with and I still to this day get statements from GreenSky. I have called Bee window and the person has not called me back to call them and cancel that. I realize it might be already in the system and that may be why I may be getting a bill. I don't like it that I keep getting late charges. I don't own GreenSky a penny and I called and cancelled with them, but they want to hear from Bee window that the contract was cancelled and paid in full. 
Some people might think it's nit picking about the cracked window and the insulation coming out from the windows. But when you pay a decent price for something, you expect it to do it's job.
