"I was looking for a HVAC service provider to clean my air ducts and dryer vent in my home. I contacted several service providers and selected F&M Services (Angie's List A-rated) based on their thorough explanation of their process, their availability and their competitive price. There were other providers that were less expensive, but saying that they would be in and out in two hours did not seem that they had thorough work in mind. F&M said to plan on 4 to 5 hours for a 2300 sq. ft house with 22 total duct openings and one dryer vent. Their price was competitive, coming in just below two other Angie's List A-rated providers. Andy, the technician, arrived on time and did the exact job that was explained over the phone. Francisco, the owner of the company dropped by to make sure everything was running smoothly. They were courteous and professional. I would hire them again and do recommend them to other homeowners. The job they did consisted of several parts. First, they located and removed every supply and return air vent, took them outside and gave them a soap, water and brush cleaning. They politely asked permission prior to using my hose and water spigot. Second, they isolated the return air ducts and vacuumed them out. Third, they hooked up an industrial vacuum unit with HEPA filtration to the main supply duct and blocked all the vent openings. One by one, with the industrial vacuum pulling negative air pressure, they unblocked each vent and used a 30-foot rotary brush head to clean out the ductwork. They then blocked the vent they had just cleaned and moved onto the next one until they had all been brushed out. Fourth, they vacuumed out the furnace box, removed the old filter and installed a replacement that I provided. Fifth, they attacked the dryer vent from both ends and removed a TON of lint. I may have missed a step or two in there but that was the general process. Lastly, the cleaned up and reinstalled all of the vent covers. All totaled it was over a five hour job. This is a thorough service provider that conducts their business in a skilled and professional manner."

"I had been meaning to call to schedule carpet cleaning for weeks before Thanksgiving (which we were hosting this year).  I was 8 months pregnant with twins and exhausted/forgetful, but wanted to get the carpet cleaned before the twins arrived, which could have occurred any day.  The Friday before Thanksgiving, I finally called Mike.  He answered the first try and had me text him my address and my preferred service dates/times.  He also mentioned that I might not be able to get serviced before Thanksgiving because that's what everybody wanted - I was flexible, I didn't care.  He told me he'd call me back that night.  He did as promised
and managed to squeeze me in during the evening of 11/19.  Mike called the day before my service to remind me that they would be there and called the day off to say his folks might be running a few minutes late.  They actually arrived right on time (nice surprise)!  They were willing to move all of our furniture to do the carpets, but we had already done it :).  The technicians were super friendly, told us what they were doing when, why they were doing it, and how to take care of the carpet post-clean.  They also let us know about other services they perform (not in an annoying sales kind of way, but just to let us know if we ever needed those services).  The clean they did was phenomenal.  I have one dog, 2 cats and a toddler.  There were lots of stains and obvious traffic marks.  I hadn?t had the carpet cleaned for at least a year, and more likely 18 months.  I?m sure there was tons of ground in pet hair and dirt.  The team pretreated the carpet in the whole house and then started the cleaning process. They warned us about the heated line and how to walk on the carpet (these things are hard to achieve with a toddler).  The carpet instantly looked amazing.  The texture of the carpet changed and it felt clean.  It took a while for the carpet to dry (the team gave us tips to help speed the drying), but it still looked incredible when dry.  The carpet still looks great (even more than 2 months later) and I can?t wait to get them back
in to clean the carpet again and this time do my tile!
