"Jason was great to work with. Always answered my texts quickly no matter what day (weekends included). The team he assembled for a kitchen remodel was respectful, quiet, clean, and friendly. They showed up everyday until the project was done unless specifically planned. The final result was fantastic."

"This company was incredible from start to finish. From coming out to do the estimate until completion, the staff was professional, considerate, hard working and overall good people. Our job was a big job with a lot of cuts and they were working with smaller tiles. They were meticulous about making sure it was perfect. They were on time, always cleaned up at the end of the day and even at the end of the job, cleaned everything and left my house like it was before the job started. I will DEFINITELY use this company again. Nick, Andrew, Alissa, Kevin, Trevor and Gary were fantastic! Thanks for everything! Love, love , love our floors!"

"Mark and Adam from Joyce were fantastic with our installation of our Provia front entry door and storm door! Talk about an upgrade and curb appeal! They walked us through on key use of both doors and how to use the retractable screen/glass storm door. Their attention to detail and years with Joyce makes these pair “the A Team” Also our rep Bryon Milter was excellent helping us with our choices and in the home presentation. Thank you Mark, Adam, Bryon and Joyce! Make Joyce your choice for your home improvement needs!"

"I had Peak Home Renovations remodel my kitchen in March-April of 2023. I couldn't be happier with the outcome. It took roughly 6 weeks. A complete and total makeover consisting of new granite countertops, new appliances, new cabinetry, creation of new recessed lighting, painting, some carpentry, and creation of a new pantry. The work crews were on time daily and were both professional and personal. The owner of the company regularly was on site and part of the work crew. Problems that arose were quickly and efficiently dealt with . Communication was excellent and the finished product turned out beautiful. The value I received for the price paid was MORE than satisfactory. I not only recommend this company to others, but I intend on using Peak Home Renovation's again in the future"

FAQs for bathroom remodel projects in Akron, OH

You can buy a replacement vanity by selecting a pre-made unit with an integrated sink from a local home improvement supplier. Pre-made vanities are designed for easy installation and compatibility with your existing plumbing. If a ready-made option doesn't meet your needs, consider hiring a custom builder to create a vanity that fits your space and style.

You can purchase a bathroom vanity from major home improvement retailers like Home Depot and Lowe’s or online stores like Wayfair, which offer a variety of pre-made vanities. Visiting local showrooms and bathroom supply stores can also provide professional advice and help you choose the right vanity for your space.

Installing your bathroom vanity flush against the wall enhances stability and prevents shifting. This placement also eliminates hard-to-clean gaps and keeps your vanity securely in place. Building codes often require a minimum clearance of four inches from bathtubs and at least 21 inches of free space in front of the sink for accessibility and safety.

You can upgrade a single vanity to a double vanity by installing additional cabinets, a second sink, and matching fixtures. This process requires additional plumbing adjustments, countertop modifications, and careful alignment to ensure both sinks function correctly. Upgrading to a double vanity enhances bathroom functionality and offers more space, which is especially beneficial for shared bathrooms.

The best vanity top material depends on your budget, style preferences, and maintenance willingness. Materials like quartz or solid surfaces are excellent choices for durability and low maintenance. If you're on a tighter budget, laminate is affordable but less durable. Consider how much traffic your bathroom gets and choose a material that balances cost, appearance, and upkeep.

Installing a bathroom vanity takes between three and six hours. Simple installations may be completed in under three hours, while more complex projects requiring adjustments or plumbing modifications can take up to six hours or more. The installation process includes assembling cabinets, placing the countertop, installing the sink if necessary, and connecting plumbing.
