"The fence and gate look great and I feel much more secure. The old fence was poorly done (some post-Katrina work so I had to take what I could find) and did not secure my back yard and pool. Tony explained why the original fence was inadequate and why we needed to upgrade (to better wood and more cross pieces). It took a few weeks for him to get to my project but he kept me posted on what the time frame was likely to be. Once they committed, they were reliable and punctual and the job was completed in a couple of days. One note: you do have to pay extra to have the old fence hauled away which was not included in the original estimate. I decided I wanted a few upgrades from the original plan (including a combination lock for the gate so that I didn't have to give keys to anyone who needed to get into the backyard). I would also have had to pay extra to have them spray the fence with wood sealer but I decided that was a job that didn't take too much expertise so I'll have my son do it for me."

" Mr. Scallan of Home Improvements came to my house on Wednesday to check out what I wanted done and give me a price for the work.   We agreed he would come the next day for 9:00 am to do the job.  He was here for 9:00 am as planned.  I had all kinds of trees to be trimmed, shaped and cut.  Also, had gutters to be cleaned and metal pipes to be cut and removed from my yard and weeds to be sprayed.   He bagged all he had cut and took the pipes with him to dispose of,  which I really appreciated.  He did a very neat job.  He did everything I asked him to do and even fixed my page fence which wasn't even on my list.   In his listing on Angie's list, he also does other maintenance jobs.   I was completely satisfied with his work and will not hesitate to call him in the future for other jobs besides yard work. <br />"

"Our contact at Forsythe, Bryan, worked closely with us on the fence layout. He provided us with various estimates prior to the fence installation and met with us on the property to discuss options for the layout. He was patient as we revised our layout plans one last time a week before the installation date and returned our phone calls in a timely manner whenever we had questions and/or left voicemails. Forsythe required a 50% deposit on the quoted contract total, with the remainder due upon installation completion.  <br>The installation itself was done by an experienced fence-builder, Troy. He was friendly and communicated well with us, asking us to review the fence line, cedar slat placement, and cedar slat ground clearance. He worked by himself over the course of two days, first installing the fence poles in concrete and letting them cure a couple of days before he returned to install the actual cedar fence itself.  <br>Upon completion, Troy showed us our new fence and the gate and gate hardware operation. Bryan called two days later to follow up on installation and emailed the final invoice that same day with amount due after deposit.  <br>We'd highly recommend Forsythe Fence to anyone looking for residential fence installation. "Last March, I started getting bids for the paint job. Mr. Brook's was far from the cheapest, but it was the most detailed, with everything broken down by cost, so I knew exactly what to expect. During the inspection for the paint job, it was determined that I needed work done on the roof before the painting could proceed. Various other delays put us out to January, but Mr. Brooks honored the original agreement and pricing. I was impressed with the professionalism of the entire crew. Every one of them seemed to take pride in their work, and the results show. It took a bit longer than I had expected (almost 4 weeks for a 1800 sf double shotgun), but it was well worth the time and money.
