"Our initial contact (Jon Long) came to estimate the job. He was quite knowledgeable and gave us some very helpful insights about the design. Since this was our first wooden privacy fence installation, Jon was also very patient as we needed a little extra time to make some adjustments to the fence plan. We had to review, discuss, and resolve any matters with our neighbors and The Woodlands Township in order to get approval to proceed. Once we received the green light, Lester Perkins then coordinated the actual construction/installation for our project He was courteous, professional, and always available for consultation, too. The day of our fence construction was led by Aurelio who was very competent and friendly. Our work was completed in one day - just as promised. In addition to installing a high quality and great looking new western cedar fence, we were most impressed with the focus on customer service which Texas Fence provided along the way during our job. The installation of one of the new fence posts closest to our house accidentally caused a water sprinkler line to be damaged. However, Texas Fence (true to their contract) coordinated this repair quickly and all is well! We highly suggest that you contact Texas Fence to provide an estimate for your next new fence, too! We received three estimates but opted not to take the cheapest estimate. The reason? We were really impressed with the looks of another Texas Fence installation performed in our area and became confident that they would do us a great job, too! They absolutely did. Win/win!"

"Meeting project manager Aaron from Home Masters until the job was done has been nothing but pleasant. Aaron sent a project proposal for painting the exterior of our house as well as fence and gate repair and replacement with a line item of exactly what they would do along with the cost which was significant but reasonable. We went over the contract together and he answered all my questions. This way there would be no communication problems later. The painters were amazing! Very polite,(didn't smoke or waste time), very careful to protect our landscaping. Did a thorough job and made sure I was pleased. Can't say enough good things about them and the work they did. Our house looks great. The crew that did the fence work were also amazing. Unfortunately the day they needed to work the weather was chilly and wet, but they kept on working until they finished. They made the design of the new fence portion look just like the original. It's a great job. We couldn't be more pleased."

"There were a number of significant problems that required my getting involved. For the 75-foot fence, they followed a slight ground slope (about 18 inches difference from end to end) instead of keeping the top of the fence level. It was quite obvious that this slope gave an unacceptable appearance to the fence. I caught this before they started the pickets, and they were able to correct the problem. Even then, their first level line was off by about a foot and they had to re-do it. The crew installed the wrong 4x4 posts for the a/c enclosure and later had to rip them out and start over. When installing a latch on one of the gates to the a/c enclosure, they cut a chunk out of a picket, which looked bad. After this was pointed out, they fixed that problem. The entire shadow box enclosure was not well planned. Two sides ended with very narrow pickets, which is very unattractive. With a little more planning, the pickets could have been cut down a little in width so that it would come out even using pickets of equal width. They came back and did a partial fix of one of these problems, but it still isn't right. In addition, one of the posts isn't quite vertical so that the last picket before the post has a gap that varies by about an inch from top to bottom. One section of the 2x6 cap on the long 7-foot fence split within a week or two. They came back to replace it, but the first attempt was unsatisfactory as the end was not cut square and left about a 1/4 inch gap. The workman then had to do another fix."

"After contacting a number of A+ rated fence companies here on Angies List, who would not come out and quot;for less than $1000.00,and quot; Aries responded. The caveat was they couldn't make it for about 3 weeks. A gentleman showed up the following day (with no notice) and gave me an estimate, but did indicate they couldn't do the work for approximately 3 weeks unless they had a cancelation. They came today and did a fabulous job fixing the latch on my gate! They're so busy because they not only do the big jobs, but the 'little jobs' like latches, etc. They showed up when they said they would today and the job was beautiful. <br />"
