Get matched with top wood flooring installation pros in Albany, NY

"We moved into new house and had them install hardwood flooring in three bedrooms. Joe helped us get it done in time, coordinating with painter. He even showed up on a Saturday to make sure everything was in place before the mover came. The installed floors are beautiful. I highly recommend him."

"Ani and his brother were timely, communicative and sent updates when each piece of work was done. The old pool house old building had issues that were revealed as work progressed, and Ani gave me quotes for what each repair would cost. He also helped me pick tile, explain why a floor covering of tile would make more sense than wood in the house. He painted, replaced the roof, created a vent, and created a shutoff switch for the pipe so that a leak might not happen in the future. Above all, the project was completed on time within his estimates. In addition, he was very good to work with and together the project came together very well. He was clear and direct, which is how I like working with someone. I would recommend A&K construction and will definitely hire them again for future projects."

"Lawrence was very communicative. His recommendation on our wood project was spot on, and he listened to our requirements. He adhered to the timelines we agreed too. The quality of his finishing was excellent."

"Great! Mahendra was competent, efficient, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to work with. He was also good at cleaning after his work and explaining how things he fixed or installed operate."

"Upstate Wood Flooring is a group of world-class craftsmen. They make a floor come to life. Steve annd Freddie installed a 6” wide plank, white oak, quarter-sawn floor in our home. They recommended roll-on vapor barrier, glue assist, and staple. I’m sure it will last 100 years! My wife requested a very precise color with a strict install and finishing regimen, and these guys matched it absolutely perfectly. They work long hours and stick to their schedule. Very pleasant fellows. A+++"

"I hired Tom to replace the stairs that go from my garage up to my kitchen door. The steps I had were not up to code (steep and uneven) causing me to fall a few times (I have a bad back and chronic pain). He gave me an estimate to replace them that was right in line with what I was hoping for. The new steps are pressure-treated wood, and now I have 3 steps and a landing. So much better! I don't even need my cane or to use the railing to haul myself up like with the old steps! I've asked him to replace my basement stairs, too, and he may even do my attic insulation. A great contractor! I'm glad I found him!"
