First Aaron called the RING tech support to make sure he could wire the RING doorbell according to his plan. Aaron took a wire from a light switch electrical box inside the house and installed a mechanical doorbell so there would be a transformer. Then Aaron wired the RING doorbell into the traditional doorbell. All worked as planned."
