"I was blown away by this company and it's staff on day 1. I left a question on angie's list and Brad responded quickly and made an appt with me. Brad (Manager) shows up to look at the items that needed fixing. Let me say from the beginning things went well. Brad dressed professionally and paid attention to what i asked for and left detailed estimates for my review. The next week, they fit me in and started the repairs! I have moved here from Alaska and work for the military, I move very often and sometimes have to rely on companies for repairs. I have never had a company treat me so well and start the job this fast. Dan (Plumber) shows up, within 20 mts he has a hold cut and the problem diagnosed, he is very knowledgeable, professional and straight to the point. When finished, i approached him with two minor jobs and his reply, "Sure what do you have"? His overall attitude was top notch and very pleasing. It would be fair to say i usually do not receive this type of "can do" attitude in today's service industry. What a relief. Dale came over and inspected a crack in my ceiling drywall that has been mudded and repaired by myself and within weeks will re crack. Dale came in and diagnosed the problem and fixed it on the spot. He has over 30 years of building experience, this is invaluable to a homeowner. Lastly Brian came and started working on the drywall repair and painting. Brian is in my opinion the finest drywaller/painter I have come across. He is a no nonsense worker who takes pride in his work....and it shows. Any complaints about the job? You tell him, he fixes without any trouble or arguments. He covered all of the furniture and cleaned up after himself. Since moving to this area, i have contacted nearly a dozen contractors for numerous services. Only 2 showed up. One was so inebriated, he could barely stand. You will receive none of that nonsense with Kate Lesley, I HIGHLY recommend to all. I can't wait to call them up and have them repaint the rest of the house!!! Thank you."

"They are honest about things that needed to be done, that he could or could not do. He has a lot going on and so he has to work on bigger project first but that is common. Sometimes if he do not have a big job you cannot really expect to get quick service, that kind of goes for a lot of people. I would use his services again in the future, as eventually it’s the right thing."

"Steve did a very good job puttting in a new outside door as well as the kitchen faucet and toilet shut-off valve. <br /> The 3' x 5' area floor tiles to be replaced I tried to find tiles to match the linoleum to look better, and he says he has to use a transition piece, and buys a black molded piece to use which is so ugly with no call to me. Then he forgets to include the metal bar for the transition piece on the side near the pantry, and places it on top of the linoleum now the transition piece it too high. Already my pantry door has to be trimmed because of the transition piece now it has to be trimmed again because it is on top of the linoleum. Dirt can get underneath it. My idea is if the 12" tiles had been cut smaller, and designed better why even have a transition piece at all? <br /> Steve does not provide estimates. He does not tell you later he charges for getting parts that are grouped together not individually priced. Steve stated he could not find a better transition piece than this. Yet at Lowe's there are tile edging which are metal for this exact purpose.  I have seen them at a the store Mattress Firm for transitioning carpet to tile.    <br /> <br /> <br />"

"This was about a week's worth of work. ALL this work improved the look and value of my home tremendously. Enlarging the entrance deck created a totally new look for my Modular Home and the new skirting on the 4"x4" timbers gave such a beautiful, finished look. The lacked gate they built for the entrance onto the deck from the steps is probably one of the best features because it allows me and my dog to set on the deck and I have no fear of her running down the stairs and away into the yard or street. It is a wonderful security feature and it really finished the look of the deck! The new skirting replaced the original 15 year old skirting and has made a huge difference on utility bills. "We bought a 1920s house that needed a new kitchen. Mike gave us a very detailed estimate and recommended a kitchen designer to help me design the project. We decided to add a doorway through an exterior brick wall to create a doorway into the adjoining sunroom instead of removing the wall between the kitchen and formal dining room. This maintained the original character of the house while still giving some "flow" into the former sunroom. The walls and floors of both rooms were taken down to the studs and the new foam insulation was sprayed inside the walls of the sunroom. A new exterior door was installed out to the back porch, The entire kitchen and sunroom were sheet rocked and new tile floors installed to both rooms. The kitchen was wired, plumbed for gas and water and beautiful kitchen cabinets and granite installed. One thing Mike Von Behren is particularly good at is replacing/restoring the molding, baseboards and door frames to match the original millwork in the house. The finished kitchen/family room is a beautiful addition to this older home and we have enjoyed it very much. Working with Mike was a pleasure-communication was great and he is very detailed and has a great team. I would definitely recommend Von Behren for any home building/remodeling projects where quality, attention to detail and excellent communication are important concerns. <br />"
