"Terrific. Camille came out to look at a couple of birch trees that I had treated last summer by another company which will remain nameless except there's an association with 911. I wanted to make sure the trees were doing ok. Not only did she tell me they looked extremely healthy for their age, but that I probably needlessly spent $1000 on the treatments last summer for diseases which they likely did not have. I will never call anyone else for tree service from here on out. Thank you Camille and Baca's!!"

"They removed sod, dirt and rocks. They installed synthetic turf and then built a flower garden all around, installed lTio bricks, removed all leaves and debris and pruned bushes. This was a huge job and done beautifully and professionally"

"At first I was concerned because and the supervisor started telling me about the extra charges if they went over time. I have had some problems with landscape service providers where we live. My concerns were unnecessary. The men worked rapidly, were complete with their work, and responded positively to our request. My wife added a request to my list and they providers did the extra work with no complaints. We were very happy with their work and would certainly recommend their services."

"He didn't know what was wrong, he took it over to the nursery and said, this is what I think it is, what do you think? He came back and said, this is what they said it was and this time we're going to treat it. He didn't recommend things I didn't need. He really did pay attention and got after it. I called him on Thursday, and he's a really busy guy, but he was over here on Monday because he knew I was pretty desperate. He just had one helper but I thought that they were prompt, they were very diligent and I liked the way things looked when they left."

"The design was exactly right for us.  The stone work for the gardens, surrounding flagstone pation, and flower garden around the house patio was excellent. That work was done by another contracter. Access to Jerico nursery was probematic.  They showed us lots of plants, but any design would have been an extra fee.  They turned over the placement of plants to Tanya, who apparently had no experience or expertise.  These placements experienced a lot of failure, some smothered others; they did not thrive.  Shrubs along the back fence had an uphill struggle, and, while a couple of them that died were replaced, one has not been.  It remains, brown and ugly, waiting for the replacement promised over and over.  Last year the excuse was that Jerico didn't have any more of these.  This year I've been assured that Leo would be out to replace it.  Not.  The flower gardens are bare or overgrown--very unattractive.
When we had disagreements over additional cost, Eric's behavior was decidely unprofessional.  Calls to both Eric and Tanya have not been been returned.  Granted, the warranty period is over, but some problems occuring during the first year were not corrected and are now being ignored.
Our initial delight with the design and planning have now turned sour. On the basis of follow-up and completion and difficulty to contact I would not recommend them.  Go elsewhere"

FAQs for trees & shrubs treat, protect and maintain projects in Algodones, NM

A tree doctor or tree surgeon is another term for an arborist. The term is more common in places like the United Kingdom. They are professionals trained to plant, care for, maintain, diagnose, and remove trees of all kinds. Tree doctors have specialized knowledge to ensure the health and safety of trees.

Arborists are tree care specialists who plan, maintain, and enhance the health of trees with expert precision. They prune, diagnose diseases, treat pest infestations, remove hazardous limbs, and manage debris cleanup while developing comprehensive landscaping plans. They also handle tree planting and work with landscape professionals to ensure long-term tree vitality and safety.

Consulting arborists are tree experts who can advise homeowners and business owners on the right trees to plant, how to care for existing trees, and what to do about trees that appear to be sick or pose a safety threat. A consulting arborist may work with local landscape architects, investment property owners, city governments, developers, and other arborists.

An arborist may be able to save a dying tree. If you notice that your tree suddenly appears to be sick or is exhibiting unusual behavior, contact an arborist immediately. They will thoroughly inspect the tree to determine what might be wrong with it—and will let you know if it’s possible to save the tree and how to do it.

Verifying an arborist’s credentials is crucial for reliable tree care. Arborists must be licensed by their state and hold certifications from reputable organizations such as the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA). Request proof of licensing and certification, and review local recommendations to ensure you are hiring a professional who meets high industry standards and adheres to strict safety protocols.
