I was so pleasantly surprised and happy when I found Carl's! Everyone was very professional, courteous and punctual, and the workmanship was impeccable. Craig was the project manage and very easy to work with. He understood my concerns about being without handrails on the newly installed masonry stairs for even one day and arranged to have his crew start their part the day after the stairs were completed. He even stopped by a couple of times while the mason was working to see how it was going. Once his crew got started, they worked very fast and efficiently and left my property spotless when they were done. "I found A2Z on Angie's list. If you've never found someone there, you can click 1-4 contractors for a job and they should all call you. A2Z was the only one that called and they called within an hour! It was actually a representative of the company, ya know like they have a legit business. It wasn't the same person that fixes stuff, and answers the phone, and schedules appointments etc. An assistant or office manager called me. She was very Friendly and professional. We scheduled an appointment for the very next day. Victor called me at said he was there the morning of the appointment. He was there early in the estimated arrival window too! Amazing! He found the issue quickly, which was a leaking window, not a roof leak, as the other guy from another "company"said. "Bob Laurendi and his Vandelay Roofing team are an absolute pleasure to deal with.  They were very responsive to my inquiry regarding my roofing needs, coming over and inspecting the existing roof within three (3) days of my first telephone call.  At that time, Bob explained the various options I should consider in installing a new (flat) roofing system, including cost variances and environmental considerations.  When I made my decision regarding the system I wanted, Bob told me he would have a formal quote to me within the week.
Less than a week later, Bob sent over his proposal and simple contract; I made one or two revisions to the specifications, which he readily accepted, and we scheduled the work for two or three weeks later.  Right on time, he and his crew called and advised me of their intent to start work the following day.  They worked over two (2) days, removing the old roofing system, repairing the wood sheathing where necessary, and installing the new TPO roofing system I had decided upon.  They worked quickly, efficiently, and cleanly, photographing every aspect of their work for my review.
