"This is not the review I did 4 seconds after they finished the job - this is the review 16 months after the job. Years ago, we had our windows done. Mind you, their salespeople are extraordinarily assertive, personable and charming - and rightfully so, as they will spend hours and hours in your home making and finalizing the sale, as well as closing out your project. The problem is, they talk super proudly about their lifetime transferable warranty - which "covers absolutely everything! No matter what! You can take a razor blade to the screens just because you feel like it and they will be replaced, no questions asked!" This...is not true. The warranty is like all other warranties - subject to defects and defective installation only. No coverage for wear and tear, issues due to neglect/accidents, acts of god or anything related to weather or the elements. In fact, even if you paint over it or have work done by outside companies that affect the product in any way, the warranty could be voided. It was ABSOLUTELY sold to us as though NOTHING was out of bounds as far as repair/replacement was concerned. Shame on us for not going through all the warranty info with a fine-toothed comb, but the pep rallies by the salesmen we had ( one sold us windows, the other siding/gutters/trim) really get you excited. You love these guys and totally trust them for their enthusiasm and knowledge. You would not believe how much they push that their warranty covers EVERYTHING - FOREVER! So either these guys are trained to tell us something other than the truth and don't read the warranties themselves, or they lie for the sale and keep you in their pockets until the project is over, when you never hear from them again. Any issues we called about AFTER they physically left our property, were ignored or put off until forever - such as debris from work left for over a month on our front lawn, or nails that we were promised would be picked up thoroughly using a metal detector so our child wouldn't puncture his little feet (made them come back twice and they still did a pretty terrible job - are those nails even magnetic???), or the shutters they were supposed to change out for us. The quality of the materials is extremely high. The quality of the work done was high. The customer service, when all is going great, is awesome. Once you have a complaint though, they are nearly unreachable. They don't want to hear it. You can contact customer service, but they will just leave a message with the PM (if he didn't call me back when I called him, why would he when cust. serv. reps from Wherever, USA tell him to?). Nothing but the product quality separates them from anyone else, so weigh your options. Power is NOT cheap. Bottom line - OK company, great salespeople (personality- and effectiveness-wise) and products, poor customer complaint resolution, fair cleanup (looked great, but super unhappy about finding HUNDREDS of nails in our lawn), average lifetime warranty. I put that I would hire again because YES & NO are the only options. I chose YES because I know more now and I do think they sell superior products and there are loyalty discounts. If UNDECIDED were an option I'd have chosen it. As long as everything goes great, you'll be happy. If not, best of luck to you."

My garage had a number of challenging design issues: parapets on all four sides, a center drain, and a weird raised section. I was getting eye-popping quotes and contractors who were all over the place with the scope of the project. I reached out to NMTI-GC on a recommendation from a local Facebook group. I contacted Ramon and we met within a week. He was kind, friendly, and professional and really heard my concerns. "We shopped around for quite a few quotes in the Central Mass area for our roof replacement and were happy to go with Golden Group. The prices were very competitive and much more reasonable than other companies. They didn't try to nickle and dime us and also respected our time when giving us a quote, unlike some larger, national companies we received quotes from. They set up and completed the entire job in a whole day (about 12 hours- we had 3 layers of roof on our house). Freddy checked in on the job site intermittently throughout the day and he and his crew were very professional. This was a few weeks ago and we have not found any scraps or nails left behind. Overall, we would hire Golden Group again in the future and have no reservations recommending them to others."
