"First, I needed an assessment of trees for removal. They could have told me I needed to remove several more trees, but they did not. Then they worked with me on the price a bit. They put me on their schedule as early as possible and then arrived on time, took out the agreed upon (2)trees and then cleaned my property, leaving it better than when they arrived - all within the space of 4 hours! They hauled away debris and all wood when they left, so I did not have tree trunks sitting in my front yard for days. An excellent operation and a family owned business. I will definitely hire them again when needed."

"Everyone was courteous, punctual and knew what to do with the trees we had that needed to be cut down or trimmed. Trees that were dying, already down after a storm or that presented a danger were taken down; they removed all the trees and limbs that were cut; and they also ground the stumps in a timely manner. "All I can say is WOW! Stan and his crew were fantastic. Let me digress. I submitted a request a few weeks ago via Angie's List for a quote. Stan contacted us within the hour. He was at our house shortly thereafter (same day) to recommend work to be done and provided us a detailed/written quote. He told us he could have the job done before Labor Day. We received a call yesterday that he could do the job today, and true to his word, he and a crew of 5 showed up early this morning and cut and trimmed the trees. Throughout this process, we found Little Bear Tree Service to be efficient, professional, competent, cordial, punctual, and honest. The price we paid was super reasonable for the work that needed to be done. "I would like to highly recommend Smitty’s Tree Care, Inc. Scott and his crew were at my home 10/23/2018. They did an outstanding job pruning several trees, removing one tree in my back yard and also removing several smaller, wild trees growing in back of my fence. These trees were preventing most of the sunlight from reaching the trees I had planted years ago. They even removed a section of my fence to allow convenient access to this area, thus, saving me money on the time they would have spent walking a much greater distance to their shredder. Scott is very knowledgeable about how best to prune trees. He spent a great deal of time going over what he felt needed to be done. They did a beautiful job pruning an enormous River Birch which was shading a good part of my lawn and preventing Bermuda grass from growing in that area. I truly believe that what he did yesterday will serve to bring my own trees back to life and encourage my Bermuda grass to now spread to those barren areas. And, Scott is so personable. He has a terrific sense of humor. He carefully explains why certain things need to be addressed. I was so pleased with his guys (who, by the way, were all very nice) and with how hard they all worked for nearly eight hours! After they replaced part of my wood fence, I would never have guessed it had been removed! They left my property looking very neat and tidy. "They were excellent. They even advised to my next door neighbor one of their trees was dead and was likely going to fall on my property so they removed that tree as well. They cleaned up everything very well and hauled all the wood away for me. They removed all the stumps. It took about two weeks from start to finish and I have no complaints. There was a lot of work to do. They were very professional and I would highly recommend them."

I sent out quotes to 4 Angie's List company's.  Heard from all 4, but Allen Jennings with AJ Tree service was the first to call me back. After I receive all 4 quotes, AJ's quote was far better than the others.  The least difference was $300, the most was $1,000.  A couple of companies said it would be a "2-day job" because the trees were so large and located in the back yard.  I call AJ Thursday a.m. to tell him he had the job and to schedule a date.  When he call back and said he had a cancellation that afternoon and could start it the same day I called.  His crew arrived at 2:30 and promptly begin to work.  I can't say enough about how efficient and careful his crew was, taking great care to not damage the yard and cleaning up as they went.  Well, 4.5 hours later, this "2-day job" was TOTALLY complete!!!  Trees down, yard totally raked, saw dust blown out of the grass, logs removed and everything looking great.  I wondered why everyone who had used AJ Trees Service had rated them an A, now I know.  The only reason I give them an A is because there isn't a A+ plus rating.
