"Outstanding service ! I supposedly had a plumber coming and called Frog Electric on short notice to tie in the project and do some other wiring including running unerground service to my camper. The owner ,James ,and his crew Tom and David and later two other employees whose names I did not catch did a great job .Thank you all."

"Fernando (New Concept, LLC) did an excellent job installing my Tesla Wall Connector—professional, punctual, and very knowledgeable. The work was clean and well organized, and he walked me through everything once it was up and running. Charging is working perfectly, and the whole process was smooth from start to finish. Highly recommend for anyone needing EV charger installation."

"Tony Peavy went above and beyond to find and repair the wiring in our home. I had no idea how bad it was when I bought my home until my brother started to replace lighting fixtures. Tony searched extensively until he found and repaired the wiring which was a wiring nightmare. They also fixed the outlets in my living room that didn't work. I highly recommend him to anyone! He does an outstanding job, is very nice, patient and great pricing. Cindy "

FAQs for electrical for home addition or remodel installation projects in Alto, GA

There are several telltale signs that your home is due for an electrical upgrade. You may need to rewire your house if your lights are constantly flickering or your circuit breaker keeps tripping. If you feel mild electric shocks when you touch light switches, hear buzzing sounds, or notice burning smells, you may need to rewire your house, too. Discolored or burnt-looking switches and faceplates are another crucial warning sign.

Properly installed copper wiring in a residential property can last as long as 50 to 100 years in some cases, but many homes over 30 years old are due for an upgrade. That’s the timeline that many experts recommend, even if it is only a partial update to accommodate technological advancements, increased power demands, and changing safety requirements.

At $3 to $5 per square foot, the cost to wire a 2,000-square-foot house ranges from $6,000 to $10,000, on average. This can depend on many factors, like the age and complexity of the house and how easy it is for contractors to access the areas they need to get the job done. Opening and repairing walls can further add to your total cost.
